4JJ1 will be the powerplant for the foreseeable future. N-series light duty trucks also launched with the same engine. Don't get caught up with the bluepower hype, it's just euro4 branding.
Dahil uso kasi ngayon ang PAWER! ☝️
Anyway, sana slight lang ang difference sa prices, di gano tumaas kaso sayang yung mga nakakuha last month kasi biglaan ang dating eh.
They say it would be priced at P1,598,000 for the 3.0L variant. No news yet regarding the 1.9L

if isuzu will cut prices by 50% on previous model i think i should buy one for utilitarian uses

That's impossible.
What are you thinking? You can't expect isuzu to price them lower than the crosswind just because of a mere engine update.
Even an outgoing model that is still sold alongside with its all-new model wouldn't have a price that would go as low as that but dealers would start offering excessive discounts for them in that case to deplete their old stocks completely so that they can start to pave way for the all-new model.
The new Blue Power series offers a new exhaust system and lower compression ratio, basically a follow up to the Euro IV 4JJ1 released several years ago.

Dalawa ang Blue Power series, all-new 1.9 and the reworked tried and tested 3.0. 😊

So the updated engine now comes with the new 6-speed a/t, right? Does it have paddle shifters too?
I just wish that they also updated the interior, specially the dashboard and the front door panels similar to what chevy did with the trailblazer so that the p1.6m mark is justifiable.
