    Hi Guys,

We are planning to buy an MU-X Manual by cash. We are from Paranaque but we drive to Cavite every weekend. My options are Isuzu Alabang, Cavite and Makati. I inquired to those dealerships, here are the details:

Alabang - 10k discount plus free LTO
Makati - 10k discount plus free LTO
Cavite - 20k discount plus 25k worth of accessories

From the looks of it, Isuzu Cavite is the best option for us. But I would like to ask if that's the most we can get?

    Thanks!

This was my basis too and I can verify kasi we have both the 2.5VNT and the 2.5VGS. Tama ka mas smooth and linear ang Mux. It also has a specific gear and pedal pressure that determines the sweet spot where the hataw kicks in. Ang fortuner naman kicks in earlier din at 1.4krpm vs the 1.8krpm of the mux kaya feeling talaga mas mabilis ang fortuner, mas may snap kapag papalo na ang turbo. In reality, they are just about the same.

Let me know if you really did get all of those their claiming, they never offered any amount of discount when i was asking them last month. I am paying cash as well. It seem's one is singing out of tune when they were all singing the same tune last month.

How about the top end power sir?

Naku hindi ko na maalala sa fortuner but maybe its a bit higher kasi sa highway the Mu-x is really more fuel efficient by almost 1.5km/L vs the fortuner.

In the Mu-x however, nasa 1.8 - 1.9krpm ang 100km/h if Im not mistaken. Its higher yata if MT.

Haha. Kilala ko ito. Hataw na agad. Ikaw talaga sir. Hindi pala talaga stress engine ang baba ng rpm. Sarap long drive this weekend! Enjoy! Congrats sa new car!

Someone claimed a 190km/hr top speed before. Hindi ko ma verify vs the fortuner sir kasi I never really went above 130km/hr on both. The fastest I ran was only 120km/hr and this was only on short bursts for overtaking.

Shhhhh....di ko kasama yung speed limiter ko kaya umabot ako 120kph. Pag kasama ko speed limiter di pwede lagpas 80kph, kurot aabutin natin hehehe.

It is, nung inaya ako ng dad ko mag Subic sabi ko daan kami Ford, tinry ko sakyan all rows. Trend ang naka display so walang sunroof.

Tbh ang hirap sumakay (lalo na bumaba) sa 3rd row compared sa usual na fold and tumble mechanism. My head almost touches the roof too. My knees brush against the scalloped front seats though baka naman nakasagad lang yun. Didn't notice if the Everest also has this, pero edge ng mu-X/TB theater style seating kaya 3rd row passengers would still have a good view up front.

Kung sliding lang sana 2nd row ng mu-X/TB eto na pinaka ok sa lahat for overall comfort and convenience. Space after third row naman, I'd give it to the Everest kahit naka taas na maluwag pa din para sa extra cargo.

Sorry not a ford fan talaga eh. Tried the 2.2 Ranger for only 9months tapos binenta ko na din due to irritating problems. I bought a Dmax LS and was very happy with it. I also have friends who bought ford and vowed to go back the japanese route.

Hi to all who have MUX,

would you know how to make the rear view monitor still play USB movie even if navigating or reversing? Nawawala kasi ung display dun sa rear view everytime the HU is being controlled. Nakamirror lang siya.

    Finally got the Mu-X LS-A

All I can say is... Wow! smooth yung handling, comfortable ride, FC super tipid and mura (coming from gas). yung hatak nya is ok naman pero mas mlakas pa din ung Trail
ng tita ko. What I don't like sa MU-X is yung reserba ng gulong pwedeng manakaw unlike sa TB need mong buksan ung rear door pra makuha ung spare tire, next is ung keyless entry dpat ung sa driver side lang ung nabubuksan. but overall it's a good buy bang for the buck ika nga.

Question po to all Isuzu MU-X owners, ano po emission compliance ng unit niyo, is it Euro II or Euro IV compliant? Been inquiring online with Isuzu but no reply. Thanks.

Congrats sir!
