ser Larry0609, congrats on your ride....pls. post pix naman.
ser Titan, ano ba ser ang RIMs ninyo 19" or 18"?
yung Php1.7M ng SF3 naka 19" na ba 'yun?
Same here, no test drive was done, straight purchase right away
when i first turn on the lights I felt like sitting on a lexus 570
Same here. Travelled today from Marikina to Sual, Pangasinan and i find the SF stress free. Makes me wants to sleep...hehe! Problem is, I could not drive it more than 100kph as I was told to vary the driving speed between 80 to 100kph at least until i reach 1000km on my odometer. Did not notice I was already at 120 at one time. I'm itching to push this baby to its limit! Pass by Carworld in San Fernando Pampanga to have a Huper Optik tint installed and all is well. You will notice the difference of having a Huper Optik tint compared with others, hindi mainit sa loob ng car once you leave it at the parking area (without shade) and come back to get going again. Very satisfied with it.![]()
I would love to but there's no harm in following advise from casa and others from here! Anyway, it will only take me a month to reach 1000km so I can wait! After that, will test it's limit at SCETEX one weekend!
Btw, anybody here knows the PCD of our wheels? Is it 5 x 114.3?
just wondering why SF3 needs 1k PMS, while sorento 5K ang 1st PMS.. eh same engine lang sila
We bought our SF3 last November 2013 here in Davao and yesterday it had its 5k km PMS. For the 1k km and 5k km PMS I spent Php 3927.86 and Php 4710.00 respectively. For the 1k km PMS, HARI has a Php 782.14 discount.
So far it has been pure unadulterated joy driving the SF. It is really fast and the ride is very comfortable. We went to Bukidnon over the weekend and tried everything SF3 has to offer - cruise control, DBC, TCS and turned on the light to PARK while driving so I have the “eyebrows” as DRL. I noticed that when using DBC it makes some jarring sound but from what I read this is normal. Also when TCS is working it also makes some unusual noise. This happened in the transition from gravel to asphalt when the tires lost a bit of traction. Wifey gave me the look and I told her it is normal too. It means the TCS is working. Is it really normal?
Last query. It has been my habit to use engine break to slow down the car. I often do this especially when I approach a curve on highway driving. On the approach I will flick into manual and lower the gear. This will create a whining sound on the engine as it tries to slow down the car. I am careful though not to redline the engine. While doing this I am also stepping on the brake at the same time.
My query is will this harm the engine and the automatic transmission? I have been doing the same with our reliable 2008 Tucson and this car still works perfect.
