PAS - Parking Assist System, basically activates parking sensors (Front & Rear)
SPAS - Smart Parking Assist System, this is your automated parallel parking system
On the our KDM (Korean Domestic Model) all option unit, we have both features. PHDM (Philippine Domestic Model) units have PAS only.
Would like to share my first upgrade... Leather seats at luxe seats macapagal blvd. I highly recommend it. Sir nestor (manager) and ms. jerrika were very accommodating and easy to deal with. Most importantly ,they lived up with their promises. I called monday, deposited on tues and the seats were installed wed ( that fast) . Brought the car 8am and done by 3pm. Quality wise im satisfied. Nestor personally oversaw the project ( there was one time he even asked his people to remove one seat and redo it because of a minor wrinkle). Two thumbs up!!!
Will figure out how to post pic.
Next project; shock sensor alarm , horns and audio upgrade
Hows your SF guys? I hardly drive mine, so there are times, its not being used for two weeks or more, but it gets started after a few days. With what I have experienced, I had my check engine light turned on...brought it at Pitstop, they ran their test and fixed it. All in their handheld computer tester..nothing to be alarmed at. I was also told by the mechanic, if it happens again, they may change a part so it wont happen again.
Symptoms I felt was, sluggish acceleration. What I did, was to pull over, turn off the engine..wait a few seconds, then restart again. That somehow helped with the sluggish acceleration. So that was about more than a month ago.
Didn't used the car again for more than 2 weeks, then when I drove it again, felt the same sluggish acceleration, but no engine light. Did the same thing..pulled over..turned off the engine, turned it back on after. Afterwards, all is fine. What do you guys think?
Is it because I hardly use my car...i mean, it can stay in the same location for weeks, but only get started but not moved.
But when I used it everyday...no problem like that appears. Your insights.
*Av8or, I never experienced sluggish acceleration with my SF, 3000kms na odo ko. Anyway, the check engine light could be related to the sluggish acceleration. What type of diesel do you use? Alam ko mas maselan KDM sa diesel kasi dapat euroV compliant.
Petron Turbo Diesel, but last full tank was with Unioil in Quezon Avenue...right after my PMS with Pitstop..but its still the same thing...
I think its because the car doesnt get used for quite a long time. I am on 2K km, but its because I took it up north..thats where it gained the mileage. But if I use it up almost everyday, it doesnt happen. Regarding the check engine light, it has something to do with the recirculating something...i forgot what the mechanic said, but the car cleaned itself as the diagnostic made the car idle at high speed..i guess to take out whatever was the cause of the "engine light".
right now, the car hasn't been driven for a week....so i'll observe again if it has the sluggish acceleration.
I don't experience the DPF let off lately after changing to Unioil. I hope after cycling more KMs on your unit everything would normalize.
