[QUOTE=Automahn;2098116]I don't know about the Fortuner or Innova but the SF's spare tire is held by a cable, not the chain type. Yung chain nilalagyan ng padlock para di manakaw.
Replica lang yung sa Import Elementz which is made of fiberglass & costing around P3k. Sa sulit may mga nagbebenta ng orig which is made of hard plastic but costing between P4.
Hi sir! I've sent a PM to one of the vendor at Sulit and he says he's not sure if it will fit our SF. Mind telling me which particular vendor did you contact just to make sure I buy the correct cover? TIA!
They're all the same size, the only difference is whether the cover is the original hard plastic or local fiberglass copy. Even before I ordered from sulit, I was already sure it fits the SF since I borrowed the spare tire cover of my auntie's Montero Sport and tried it myself on the SF. ;)
Anyway, I ordered from the vendor with the handle name "ekimtm". However, he's based in Tarlac City. I had mine shipped via Victory Liner here in Pangasinan, I just picked it up from the terminal. I got the original from him for P5.5k. Right now, his ad shows the copy version for P3.6k.

Hi guys need your inputs.
I lleft this thread coz I decided it's Trailblazer-LTZ over SF3.
However, it's been over 2 months now and still no LTZ white or brown in sight.
So decided to have a 2nd look again on SF3.
Size wise, both units will do its job.
Can SF3 handle most metro roads with its potholes and all without slowing
down ala Trailblazer (or near to what a pick up based SUV can do)?
I believe some owners here are in the same dilemma before
as I'm right now.
Regardless to say, even potholes will surely rattle a ladder type frame same with any other vehicles. I guess it all depends on the suspension and NVH. The SF3 is a cross between an off and soft roader. While the Traiblazer sure has the capacity to do off road, consider the SF3 a refinement. On the street it drives like a car and SUV, It feels less cumbersome on road. I would have to say that it has more road manners due to its refinement. It can handle normal city potholes, just not the oversized ones that fit a tire. But relatively, if the purpose is offroading and really bumpy roads, I'd probably stick to Montero or a Trailblazer. If you are more City and Touring then The SF3 is a good choice. The SF3 can do offroading but not as much as the Trailblazer, which has higher ground clearance like the Montero and Fortuner.
Seriously, even if I own a Montero or Trailblazer I would still go easy on the potholes, repairs do not come cheap.
To Add..
The SF3 experience was like night and day, the best of both worlds. Test drive so you would know what I mean. Simply sitting inside will make you feel right at home.
Our decision was risk, there were no test drives then. But it was the best risk taken, we are very happy with our SF3.![]()
