If the mother will be buying, then it's just right to follow what she wants because she has the money. But if you're the one who's paying or daddy who likes the SF too, then get whatever you want! Then let her drool on how beautiful looking the SF3 is.
I think it's kinda OA to say she'd take the jeepney over the SF3. No one likes to take the jeepney, I'd rather get on a rusty old car that has AC than get on a jeepney![]()
Me too, my wife initially had reservations with hyundai but now, ok na ok siya with the SF3.
Will be having my first PMS this week, nearest to me is Hyundai Q. Ave.
Any tips sir? magkano aabutin?![]()

My mom also was not sold to the SF3 initially, because of the price and the brand. We mostly have jap cars, we did have a korean van, but that was not used much. After using SF3 day to day, she gets to like it more and more. Specially the features. Dati ayaw nun ng glass roof unsafe daw, pero now she is so used to it. She is most impressed with the safety sensors and features which come into play and she gets to experience it. Kulang nalang massage seats. Sana massage seats na nga lang kaysa heated and cooled seats. Anyhow, buti nalang she went with my recommendation. Matagal-matagal na research at risk din yun purchase namin sa SF3, sabi ko nga sa thread eh before walang test drive. US reviewers scrutinize and made it sound that it needed more improvement, but it was a real leap. I guess the reviewers were just too fixated with the badge. That is why I went with Autobytel's review it was more realistic and unbiased when on youtube. Also European recommendation. The only gripe with most reviewers was the badge bias. Times have changed, they have to open their eyes that it was then an ugly duckling and now the beautiful swan overshadowing its competitors. Hehe.. Satisfying kasi talaga.
Show her the TOTL SF3 and a good test drive. The SF3 is real quiet, roomy (in my opinion), fast and torquey.
thanks for your replies sir...i think my mom is just "brand conscious" she thinks that hyundai is a cheap brand, hence the ignorance. I always tried to tell her that SF3 is the best car in the market today vs the monty and the fort.
She rode my SF2 many times and she liked the comfort but still she wouldn't buy hyundai.
Many times it frustrates me to convince other people that SF3 is a solid and best SUV/CUV out there. Many are so narrow minded about their monty and fort.
Have a friends who have the monty and fort and both of them have complaints with their unit (ride, interior, quality, etc)
IF ONLY THEY CAN SEE THE LIGHT!!
Its just nice to know that there are people out there who also like me likes the SF.
Hmm, price wise, the SF3 costs more than the monty and fort, and the TOTL is 2.2M... worth it for me.
thanks ser T|tan, so that's with the stock 235/55-R19 rubber too right?
yup correct ser, same lang sya ng specs sa sister car nya na Sorento.
also other info ay : 7.5Jx18 ang RIMS with offset of 45.
ser hindi pa, nag-pipigil pa muna ako. hahaha.
talaga that's weird? dapat pareho lang...same engine, same tranny.
Need your opinion guys. The dealer is giving the following freebies and discount. P30k disc or GPS worth 44k (accdng to them), 3m tint, 3m floor matting, 3 yrs lto, rust proof, paint sealant & cloth seat cover (never mind). I've decided for GPS instead of P30k disc. Is it a good deal or there's a better deal out there? Need you feedback asap. Thanks in advance.
I got the OEM headunit from the CASA, the only advantage lang is the warranty is still intact including electricals.
