I wonder if theres a dealer who will give 100k discount + vkool tints OEM with other stuff. So far best deal ko is the ff from both Alabang branch and Quezon Ave.

    Bank PO:

    85k discount
V-Kool Tints OEM (my choice na light, medium or dark)
    3 years LTO
    Seat cover
    Car cover
    EWD
    Key chain
    Umbrella
    Mattings.

My choice of insurance. If I get from Hyundai Alabang 36k with AOG and can be payable pa in 4 months. 0.5% participation fee daw sa accidents.

If you don't mind spending a bit more. Your V-Kool tint is just entry level similar to 3M. I recommend having your windshield tinted with a high heat rejection tint from VKool, try to inquire it will help heat rejection a lot. More so, it will be less effort cooling your interior with AC unit.

Sir T|tan, I beg to differ on your statement about V-Kool OEM series. I'm a user of it for 6 months on our Trailblazer. Its heat rejection is a lot better than the 3M Color Stable series (high end dark tints of 3M but still cheap) that is installed on my sister's Jazz. And it is also better than the SolarGard HP Titanium series installed on my Montero Sport. I would really recommend V-Kool tints kahit yung entry level OEM series nila. Heat rejection is really superior against sa 3M Black Chrome at Color Stable series. Entry level series lang yan, pero napaka ok ng heat rejection compared to its competitors. Sorry for the OT guys pero I just had to make some clarifications lang.

I have just received an email message from HARI confirming na there is NO DFP installed sa 2012/2013 Hyundai Santa Fe released dito sa atin. Made an inquiry kasi before sa casa about it ang nung una they are not sure kung meron or wala. After a few weeks sabi sa akin meron daw. So naguluhan ako kaya nag inquire ako sa HARI and it's only now na nag email sila confirming na wala nga daw DPF installed sa Philippine released SF3

This only show that the casa don't know their selling.

Most of our cars, we run vkool but the high heat rejection type all around, including sunroof. We have also been using VKool for several years about 10 years including 3M and Solarguard. I have also tried the entry level vkool, 3Ms, Solarguards, for me same lang unless mataas ang heat rejection like the Vkool's V40 or V70 then you really notice the difference. I never said that Vkool entry level tint was bad nor efficient in heat rejection. I also did not say to change the whole tint, windshield lang ang recommendation ko. Again, this is just a matter of opinion and preference, more so based on several years of experience with the product. My recommendation is of value for cooling and cost efficiency, not emphasizing on the entry level tint; which is true being given out as a freebie (if it was given to me, I would not hesitate taking it, branding pa lang panalo na. Kung tutuusin sa marketing VKool is being regarded as expensive dahil they were mostly known for their high end tint). I have also tried using Solar guard's high heat rejection tint on our windshield, it is potent but not like Vkool's. The only problem with High Heat rejection tint of VKool is that it has a hight metal content that some GPS systems cannot seem to get signal, specially for GPS units which are small. But so far my Navi GPS (FlyAudio) in my Forester works well, it runs on Vkool's 70 series high heat rejection tint, all around and top. However, sometimes my Car DVR's GPS system (separate from my FlyAudio Navi unit) which is a tiny unit fails to detect a signal. I have nothing against Vkool, I like them specially their clear tint which is their highest heat rejecting tint. Again, to each his own preference, constructively..

To add based on my experience, most of the heat really is coming from the windshield and sunroof, but for me immediately mas noticeable yung heat sa windshield against sa sunroof.

Interested in what Hyundai QA offered you for the Sta Fe, can you refer me to your Agent?

Parang too good to be true yang .5% participation fee sa insurance kung ganyan ka mura ang premium with AOG. Usually pag mura ang premium mas mataas ang participation fee (based on experience ko)
