Docwin, it really depends on the trim as you can order its specs. So it may vary as per order. I suggest checking what they have or order your trim. Ask the SA to show the brochure or you can check out the korean website. There are 4 trim levels; (In order and by rank) Smart, Modern, Premium and Exclusive (TOTL).

Greetings fellow tsikoteers, ask ko lang to those who own or had driven the previous sta fe, i noticed parang the accelerator pedal is harder or heavier yung gen3 than the older model.

I haven't driven the Gen 2 Santa Fe but compared to my other rides, I do find the Gen 3's accelerator pedal stiffer. I've gotten used to it somehow after 3 months of driving my SF.

    Hi guys,

Been thinking of getting the new Santa Fe. But i was browsing the internet and noticed there are 2 types in terms of size? The sport (which seats 5) and GLS/limited version (which seats 7).

Are these two available locally or through grey market?

I actually saw it in Hyundai USA website: https://www.hyundaiusa.com/vehicles/2013/santa-fe/?

    Thanks!

We don't have a LWB unlike in the US.. Yung sports nila ay 5 seater lang and has a GDI engine.. Dito sa atin isang body lang SWB 7 seater.. Kahit sa grey pareho lang ang dimension ng vehicle.. Only the features are different.

Lifted from a review of Hyundai Santa Fe | 2013 Elite CRDi Diesel - Off-Road | Reviews | Prices | Australian specifications when SF3 was tested on a stretch of sand dune somewhere in Australia...

"Stuck? Not once. And neither did we have a nervous moment.

It was simple, really. But the confounded looks others gave us as we sailed past in the Santa Fe were proof that it was unexpected.

The final word should go to the guy who walked up to us after we stopped for a short break.

“That was just unbelievable. My brother just bought one of these and I told him not to bring it because he’d get stuck. Next time he can bring it – and he can pull me out."

On the very same section of beach a Patrol was struggling (with off-road tyres), a LandCruiser was only inching forward, a Rodeo had to be snatched out and a Wrangler was completely buried. That alone underlined our belief Hyundai has something a little special in the Santa Fe.

This is one really versatile and capable car. We wouldn't suggest you'd do what we did to it every day... but you can do it."

Initially I thought the Santa Fe was priced way off, but having driven it for 3 months I realized na sulit naman pala binayad ko. And seeing its number increasing on the road, I think customers dont mind the price tag relative to its competitors, as long as sulit naman.

I couldnt agree with you more. Its also European standard. Compare the features of this SUV...panalo na sa price. I just discovered lately the "autohold" feature of the car...... hahahha...cool...

Been using my SF3 lately and running great...so dapat pala gamitin ang SF3 natin as often.....hehehhehe.

I have read before that SF3 was designed in Southern California. Here's another one....
