Yup twin turbo na 2.2 R eVGT, inline 4 din. Kaya yan ng Hyundai because they already did that to the 1.6 Gamma GDi engine. The Veloster sports that twin turbo 1.6 Gamma GDi engine having a power output of 204 ps.

So ang twin scroll ay parang twin turbo pero isang piraso lang?

Twin scroll turbo kasi ang nakalagay sa Veloster Turbo.

Hey guys! Which fuel station do you feed your SF?

Shell Nitro diesel is the most expensive and has better performance compared to Caltex Techron D. But it is still euro 2 though. And the engines on the 2013 SF and Sorento are Euro 4 or 5 I think.

Apparantly kasi may bagong bukas na Unioil from where I always pass by and I heard their diesel is the cleanest with euro 4 rating. Pero puro trailer trucks kasi nagpapafuel due to its lower price. So it's kinda weird to me how its euro 4 rated diesel would be cheaper than the common euro 2 rated diesels of Shell and Petron.

No need na magdagdag. Ganun din sabi ng SA ko, but once nagtaas right eyebrow ko (The Rock style) eventually he didn't charge me na.

I don't think ours is twin turbo. There is a difference between twin turbo, twin scroll turbo and turbo VGT. What I know our turbo is VGT which has controlled vanes to spool faster or slower. I think I saw somewhere the gas models utilize twin scroll turbo. Old school twin turbo is literally two turbos side by side or daisy chained. There are even superchargers paired with turbos.

I'm not an expert pero just to compare:

--------- Sulphur content, mass pct ---- Cetane Index

    Unioil Diesel ---- 0.0015 ---- 54.9
    Caltex Diesel ---- 0.0423 ---- 54.5
    Phoenix Diesel ---- 0.00077 ---- 56.6
    Shell DIesel/Nitro ---- 0.05 ---- 53.0/58.0

Bsed on the figures above, kayo na po mag decide saan kayo magpakarga ng diesel. Again, their diesel products vary and depends on where they get the supply. Like with Seaoil, they use to get diesel with 50 ppm sulphur content but have switched supplier and thus higher sulphur content.

personally, I used to fill up with Shell Nitro Diesel and switch recently to Unioil for my last two fill ups. But will gas up with Phoenix if the situation permits cause malayo and Unioil station from my place and wala naman ako nadadaanan sa EDSA on my way to work.

Yung local naka EURO II emission kaya walang DPF. KDM at EUDM meron.
Reklamo? Ano reklamo ko sa Sf ko. As i said earlier, i opted to get the 4x2 for practical reasons. Wala din ako reklamo kung euro 2 siya or euro 4... I cannot recall complaining about the phdm sf except for the price.

That is weird Pheonix called me as I filed a complaint, they said they did not carry euro IV. I used their diesels a full tank of it and I experienced DPF regeneration early just like Seaoil. With Unioil so far I have not gone through DPF regeneration yet.

Should still be good enough.

It will start production in the US this month daw. If they will release this sa South Korea, there's a big possibility na ilalabas sa atin ito. As I've posted earlier, may dinedevelop daw ang Hyundai na twin turbo version ng 2.2 R eVGT engine that might be used for the LWB Santa Fe. Ito ang pic:
