Yung free ko 3M, okay naman sa sides. What you want to check out is heat from windshield. I have not tried OEM35.

Kay Hancars daw, yung top of the line na Santa Fe na 4x4 nila, kaparehas ng HU ng Santa Fe nila av8or5 at T|tan. May Korean interface. Yung 4x2 units lang yung kinabitan nila ng cheap China HUs.

Wala pang panel for the new SF... Problematic yung HU na china.. SQ is bad.. Mas maganda pa ang output ng stock HU. Interface is also bad... I'm just waiting for another supplier.. Pareho ang itsura but they said, iba daw ang interface..

Dyan nga ako natatawa sa inyo eh, pinaplitan nyo HU nyo ng touchscreen china made, eh engineered ang stock unit to play good sound quality kse nga masisira sila.

Imagine a perfect world of say you have a T86, a Sta Fe, a Montero with different brands of touchscreen HU na gastusan nyo ng additional 50k each, tpos you get different mapping software for GPS.

A few of them just used the assisted GPs of their iphones with always on connection. Mas ok daw kse may traffic update real time.

Kaya nga sayang lang oras nyo kakaaral nyan mga china HU - it's trash.

Atsaka, dont justify na you have GPs here is ok na. The GPs satellite is free service from the US armed forces.. This means they have more satellites above Mainland usa than any part of the world.

Sa US, halos instantaneous ang connection pero dito hirap kumuha ng signal, even in France and Italy, hirap din ako kumuha ng GPS signal pero sa Switzerland madali. Pabor talaga ng US ang Zurich, eh kse nga naman dun nakatago ang pera ng mgz mayayaman- americans.

Lightning Lab na DVD/GPS/TV HU ok naman daw. Si JPG111 ganun ang HU sa Montero niya. Si doc OTEP ganun din HU niya.

Imperialv, if you have the same unit as the one in the pic then it is the same ones I saw installed sa Hancars and Pitstop, these are the non bluelink units. I believe they are after market, but looks OEM. I have not tried or tested those. Is the SQ really bad? I have a FlyAudio in my forester ok naman, I am not also sure if that is comparable to the china made ones. I was lucky when I bought my FlyAudio it was replaced with a new unit with DSP, the previous unit had a dead cell on screen. You may want to install an OB in your dash which may give you free GPS and a JOKE. Kidding.. Hahaha...
