Hehe the explorer is in a different league from the santa fe. One is almost full sized and one is barely mid sized. But yeah the santa fe is really nice that i agree.

I agree, the Ford Explorer has a different market niche. Nonetheless, it is only in my opinion. Are you planning to get an SF3?

I was hoping to get one for my next purchase. But 'hoping' is the operative word. Ended up getting in line for something else not because I wanted it though but because it was more practical. But if you ask me, the SF3 is what I would get. Just didnt match my need. I hate being practical hehe

I have to correct myself, in terms of market niche. Come to think of it; the current SF3 and price range has actually penetrated the Explorer's niche. I guess this move of theirs is the beginning.. Even EU is giving a high brow of the price increase with its new release of the SF. US entry of the new Hyundai Santa Fe now reacts to say that it competes with the Explorer, Traverse, Pilot and Higlander, especially with its LWB entry. I guess in the years to come and with its positioning strategy this may change how people see Hyundai as a brand. Ford may have revolutionized the car industry and yes is far experienced against Hyundai, but I would not keep a blind eye.. Sana locally (Hyundai) ok din after sale support nila paired with whatever global strategy they have, this will boost consumer confidence with the brand.

Yes we have, the current SF3 has diesel variants only. My consumption is about 8km/li city driving.

sa PHDM 4x4 nga wala SPAS and LDWS... so definitely 4x2 wala rin yun.
