Anyway, as Mr. Titan said, I found out that placing the switch in the center would not activate this feature. HARI has a reason why they removed the DPF for the PHDM version... and I am assuming this is with the approval of Hyundai Korea. Otherwise, we would not be getting the 150,000 kms or 5 years warranty given our vehicles. We just have to trust them on this one. My experience with my Montero was initially I used Petron turbodiesel and it was mausok.... then I switched to Seaoil bioexceed and the smoke was gone becasue Bioexceed I think is euro IV. Mitsubishi got a lot of complaints regarding this and they fixed the problem by making the engine euro II compliant... nowadays no more mausok issues.
