    Mr. Behaved Driver,

It was only two weeks old, with less than 1K mileage when they had to pull-down the transmission to replace the clutch disc and clutch disc assembly.

I filed a complaint with DTI asking that my unit be replaced. The Hyundai people insisted on the warranty which does not include replacement of the car unit. Only repair and replacement of defective parts.

I had no choice but get back the repaired car. Ngayon naman ang fuel consumption, 7 km per liter (long drive at SLEX on a weekend).

I have yet to hear the knocking sound though....

Para sa mga nagsasabing "not fair to judge the brand", please tigilan mo kme nyang bull$**** na yan kse over a year na ang problema na yan.

Di ba't sabi nila,- "Knock and it shall be opened"?"....

Ok if thats how you feel then voice it out, tell your horror story to warn others. Just give us the facts para makatulong sa lahat what to look out for.

Now if one of the 3 hyundais we own have problems anytime soon which cannot be easily resolved by casa, asahan niyo kayo unang makakarinig ng complaint ko at sunod ang DTI.

My officemate owns a Hyundai Accent 2012 MT too. Labas masok sila sa casa- the problem is engine knock like most of the Accents.

A friend of another owns a Hyundai Accent 2012 AT. The unit was released on the first week of Dec 2011, it spent Christmas in the casa. Kaparehas ni Mr. Behaved Driver, the car just stopped in the middle of the street. Un nga lang AT yun.

Had i heard these stories before, i would not have chosen Hyundai over Honda and Toyota.

I started a campaign last year na i-warn ang future buyers ng Hyundai, may rume-react pa jan na childish daw. Eh kita mo, may na bibiktima pa, at ang dami nilang naloko at niloloko.

Siguro naman ngayon it's fair to say na Hyundai is a very unreliable, very over-rated brand. Kung sasabihin natin na after sales service lang naman ang problema ni Hyundai so we don't judge by it, sorry pero after sales service ay 70% reputation ng brand kse may wear and tear yan hindi sa brand new lang. Everybody can sell brand new, but not everybody can maintain it at least close to brand new. SARAO nga produces brand new jeepneys eh. So ganito nalang ba natin ico-compare si Hyundai? Hyundai<SARAO? Pangit diba?! But that's "truth well told".
Each brand has its own problems, Toyota/Lexus had sticky accelerator pedals and D4D fuel pump problems, Mitsubishi had smoke emission & other QC problems, Honda I dont know - but the question now would be how much of the units they've sold have defective issues. Sa tingin ko, malaki ang ratio ng Hyundai cars with defective parts, meaning they're still a notch lower than their Japanese counterparts. Give it another decade at baka magka-level na sila.

Also, It's normal for people to defend Hyundai since they've bought Hyundai cars and are just both protecting their decision and had no problems with their units. (just like the fortuner, Ive had no QC issues with my unit but others swear theirs since they had fuel pump issues)

At the end of the day -- World Peace!! =)

Sir, ilang beses ko na narinig yan na lahat ng brand may kanya kanyang problema, pero so far si Hyundai over a year nang hindi ma solve ang knocking o low power issue.

Yes, posibleng after a decade gumanda ang Hyundai, but not today or anytime sooner. The way I think of it, nahihiya lang naman tayo na makita or mabasa ng mga kaibigan natin na pangit pala itong nabili natin diba? Me I don't, a lot of my friends and officemates inquires about this car pero sabi ko magsisisi sila. Mas nahihiya akong sabihing ok sya tapos after they buy one crap pala.

As of today March 11, 2012
Hyundai is a piece of crap.

Kailangan may connection or nasa pwesto para ma aksyunan.

    *sir mexo,

To be fair sa Hyundai as brand - I have my Santa Fe 2009 model and up to now walang kahit isang problema meron ang unit ko.

Will bookmark this thread at ng malaman natin kung may action ba talaga silang gagawin both HARI and DTI
