Problema talaga ang HARI, specially sa mga warranty parts nila.. Dapat as of now, may technical solution na sila sa knocking problem ng accent...

    Hi Guys,

Just an update. Have recieved a notice of Mediation from DTI Consumer Assistance and Protection Division Makati office regarding my case filed against the Hyundai dealer.

There are 2 Mediation sessions and I sure do hope this will resolve everything.

Also, another letter recieved from the President of the Dealership stating facts regarding the produres done in my car. This was their answer to my formal complaint and CC DTI and certain Hyundai AVP for Marketing (I coudn't remember his position, sorry)

I am still waiting for the ECU to be replaced and now i have another impending issue with my Accent that needs to be addressed as well.

    1. Every time I shift gears I hear a loud "Thug" sound underneath the hood.
    2. Rear suspension has been squeeking when passing a hump.

This is one my deepest regrets, buying a Hyundai Vehicle. I should've taken the Fiesta or perhaps the Suzuki Swift. 2 months had passed and its like owning a second hand defective car.

Like I said, should a consumer owns something brand new, you expect the product to perform like brand new and not crap. Going to the casa back and forth is something that is inconvenient for busy people like me and instead of enjoying yourself driving a brand new car, you end up putting a bad day for repairs.

On another note, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU ALL my fellow colleagues to submit your complaints to the person below at DTI to resolve your issues with your HYUNDAI ACCENT once and for all.

All other issues with other HYUNDAI vehicles, you can report it as well from here on.

hehe, wag na mag-aspire pa sa 3rd gen SF. i got the 2nd gen SF but i'm not aspiring nor interested with the 3rd gen SF.

the thing is Hyundai is a bubble waiting to burst. when I got my SF last 2006, VIP treatment pa ako bec. Hyundai has to something to prove to the market. I too have my own share of kapalpakan dyan sa Hyundai one of which is a denied warranty claim on steering leak issue, imagine butas ang loob ng tie rod ng SF ko, eh papano nangyari yun eh nasa loob pa ng buong steering assembly. and this happened shortly after my 3 year warranty expired, (3 years lng warranty ko b4 they went 5 years). since bago pa SF ko noon I had no choice but to buy an entire assembly which is 50K considering yun tie rod eh 5k lang. the problem hindi daw nila maibalik ang steering assembly kasi walang pang-seal. and bec. planta has no seal, pinabili ako ng 50K ng buong steering assembly.

bad trip yan Hyundai or HARI na yan. if I were you people, stop patronizing or always getting excited with every new Hyundai. Hyundai Korea is producing top quality products, that is a given. pero iba ang HARI, walang-wala sila sa kalingkingan ng Honda Service.

and besides, I don't like buying sa isang management na puno ng scandal. the owner made a mistress of the CEO para ma-ensure ang business. pela pela lang heheh. ayaw ko ng mga immoral, it only shows how far will they go to deny their customers

sadly, bye bye Hyundai for us.

anyways, I heard Montero and Sorento will offer a bare sub 1M crdi models soon. so dun na lang kayo mas ma-excite, at least what you will be buying is subok na Phil. setting.

this hyundai 3rd gen, baka maging guinea pig pa kayo like what happened to first time accent users and now, i'm reading problems na din sa elantra thread. that's the price of being first, you are also first sa sakit ng ulo kasi hindi naman tested ang binili nyo.

sa panahon ngaun, lalo na at ang diesel and gasoline will breach 50 and 60 pesos level, to take risk on a untested new car is just plain stupid. kung wala nga lang masyado pride tayo mga pinoy, Adventure is the best bet. pero bad trip lang kasi yun iba sa'tin pag naka-adventure inaapi. kung tuusin with a 3rd world setting like ours, dapat talaga mga tsikot natin mga durable at subok na and not much on status quo. so siguro to be safe, get the bare montero or sorento.

It seems that HARI has been importing Accents with defective 1.4L Gamma engines. I've been Googling the engine knock problem of the 1.4L Accent and the problem is confined here in the Philippines. The USDM, Canadian market, and even the some ASEAN market Accent do not have the engine knock problem.

Hyundai is a good brand, no doubt about it. Kung pangit ang brand, CATS Motors Inc. would not even think of putting up their own Hyundai dealership. What needs to be done is for HARI to acknowledge the problem, coordinate with the top honchos of Hyundai Motor Company, and make a full page ad on the newspapers announcing a massive recall of Accents sold from 2011-2012. And for HARI to start doing that, disgruntled Accent owners might want to ask help from the media i.e. Noli de Castro, Ted Failon, Tulfo brothers, Anthony Taberna etc. and threaten to file a class suit against HARI for their inaction.

I think yung fuel quality lang naten, masyadong bulok and hindi na anticipate ng Hyundai. The accents were not made for the Philippines. These were made for the richer markets.

Take into account, yung 95RON fuels naten (which for us is already Premium), will only qualify for 88RON (regular) in those first world countries.

Just my though though..
