don't get too dismayed by foot layout e-brakes, you might be surprised that there are other cars which use this format, a few examples are benzies, and american made suv. foot e-brakes are meant to declog center consoles for cars with center consoles. as for other SUVs like the suburban which does not have the center console, no other practical choice but to put it along with the other foot pedals.

as far as i know, it is meant to be stepped on really hard to lock it. especially on the new tuc which does not have the release latch to release the e-brake.

IMO mas maganda yung foot brake. Mas susyal tingnan at mas madali gamitin.

Ako mas prefer ko pa rin yung hand brake than the foot brake... Ewan ko ba the foot brake seems not as strong than the hand brake. Must be my imagination...

Yup if nagpark ka sa inclined then hindi ka nag footbrake medyo matigas yung shifting from Park. kaya nga dinidiinan ko talaga ng mabuti yun footbrake para di ma-stress yun transmission.

I had mine adjusted after the 1st week of driving my tucson dahil hindi talaga kumakagat kahit small inclines lang. Ok naman ang result after being adjusted, kahit half pressed on medium inclines. Beyond that, kelangan mo talaga isagad para sigurado.

another issue for me is yung wipers. ang pangit! parang hindi maayos yung pag-wipe especially pag tuloy-tuloy yung ulan. pinalitan ko na lang ng bosch wipers. instant improvement.

has anyone else encountered bad wipers sa tucson?

Hehehe..

Magandang wiper yung NWB. Humanda lang kayo sa presyo. Pero sobrang ganda. Yung design same sa wipers ng Toyota Camry.

    Kulit amp :hysterical: ELEVO nyahahaha

O kaya yung Mitutoyo Wipers. Maganda din iyon.

are you talking about the gl evgt or the gl theta 2?

i have the gls theta2 and i have experienced problems with it. don't get me wrong, i am pissed with the problems i have experienced but at the end of the day, i still love the car. i'm not expecting a new car to be all that perfect, otherwise, i would have bought a benz instead, but i assure you, i would still encounter problems with it...perfection is relative to perception.

my problem lies with the warranty which supports the car itself. yes, you may claim the defects against its warranty but people from hyundai themselves cannot solve the problem. they rely purely on hit and miss! only during the course of the complains of the new owners, only then, that they get their training in repairing or dealing with the problems which arise.

the thing is, HARI should have sent service advisors to hyundai korea to get trained with the ins and outs, and technical specs of the new models which they brought in. i don't think HARI prepared for these.

    just my 2 cents.
Benz has more problems than Toyota, Ford and Nissan combined even at brand new. Experienced it with my father's S-classes and friend's E-classes. Same goes with BMW. Lexus and Audi have better quality.

exactly my point my friend. once, i bought an e220 which was only 2 years old then and was supposedly maintained in reputable shops...it had very low mileage then but the defects were off the roof...harness (wtf!?), fuel system, and something about the oxygen sensor were not performing well, had to spend another 6 digs just to get it back to a satisfactory condition, not good for a guy who's just starting out. the thing is, back then, i thought benzies are the perfect cars. but even the so-called "perfect" cars aren't really perfect after all. as i said, perfection is relative to perception.

Yup, all of us thought Benz were the ultimate cars. Actually they were before 2 years of use. It was with Benzes that have problems that I never knew existed in cars like the compartment vacuum lock and anything related to fuel supply that I never heard of before in other cars. My father experienced stalled engine twice. It's a good thing it didn't happen on the road.

It's good that internet is here to give us feedbacks on people's experiences.

Kapag naka park. Sa bahay, sa office, sa school (Wag nalang sa mall, nakakahiya )

Itaas niyo yung wipers. Lalo na kapag naka bilad sa araw.

    OC ba?
