    Thanks for the feedback guys. My dad is planning to get a Tucson din and was wondering about the brightness. Ako kasi with the GLS I have the gauge brightness up to 3 levels (7 or 8 yung brightest i think). Madalas pa naman bumiyahe dad ko from the province ng mga madaling araw. Might be an issue... although I would assume its just a matter of time until the rheostat becomes available.

    yep i think there will be some aftermarket sources when the time comes.

    yung cruise control nga meron nang aftermarket e

    kanina when i turned the a/c on, hindi siya lumalamig as in hindi siya talaga lumamig.while driving i turned off the a/c and turned it on again wala pa ring lamig. i stopped and turned off the ENGINE then i turned on the engine and turned the a/c on, dun pa lang sya nagsimulang lumamig. maybe there is something wrong with the a/c of theta 2 engine. Bale twice ko na siya na-experienced.

    it's the ecu which is the problem. it has to be restarted every time you encounter engine performance problems.

    buti na lang di ko pa naencounter yan malfunction issue na yan sa A/C ng theta II ko. sana naman wag ko maexperience yan.

    haha, ayus eh no, sakto yung words ah...

    di daw nila papalitan yung unit kasi "simple" problem lang naman daw yung mga na encounter ko...mind you ha, "simple" daw. mahaba-habang usapan 'to...bottomline, the car was pulled out from me for 3 weeks, they checked everything and replaced what needed to be replaced...pero syempre andun pa rin yung lack of confidence ko especially kung hindi na ako ang nagda-drive ng oto pag lumabas yung engine stalling ulit.

    pero since then, di ko na na-experience yung non-starting ac, loud knocking sa stab link, clanking sounds sa likod, and non-functioning door locks...dami ba? as for the engine stalling...i have yet to wait for another event so i could file a proper complaint (discouraging ba?).

    thinking out loud....maganda kaya ang elite models ng pitstop? hehe.

    balita ko maraming naghahanap ng gls theta ngayon eh, haha!...meron ako bronze.................na muntik ko nang gawing midnight blue!

    SG, yung angels ha! takbo na sa suking dry aquarium......

    Napaka "simple" pala ng "issues" na sinasabi mo para sa kanila ha.

    Anyway.. What do you mean elite models ng Pitstop? Yung Gray Market version ng Tucson? IMHO mas maganda iyon. Lalo na yung LMX20.. Taob yung Premium ko

    Di bale.. isasama ko si Bryan pagpunta sa Aquarium . Magaling din iyon pumili. Nyahahaha!

    nakakagigil naman kasi dahil di dapat ganun pag bago eh, pero ngayon peace na kami, hehehe, binilhan ko na nga siya ng turbo eh, aralin ko nalang kung ano pa kelangan ko palitan.

    kung pupunta kayo sa aquarium, sama na rin ako!

    sa UK kasi, they call the high end models as elite, sa ibang dealers naman premium din....they also have a 2wd elite which is much like the 4wd, only 2wd. so i am assuming pitstop would not market their high end variant as a premium so they could separate their models with HARI's. i heard one time from a guy in pitstop that they have elite models coming. ano ba diff ng grey market tucs dun sa HARI? would warranty be different?

    Warranty ng Pitstop motors same sa HARI eh. 5 Years. Alam ko meron din LMX20 2WD.

    Ito ang features ng LMX20.. Local Premium plus
    + Seat Heater
    + Telescopic Adjustable steering wheel
    + In dash LCD with GPS Navi, Touch screen & DVD Player
    + Brown Leather seats

    hmm parang yan lang.

    Has anyone experienced Shift Lever can't move from Park to Reverse or Neutral to Reverse? It's 2 days now that i did have this problem and was able to move by inserting a flat screw in the shift lock override hole. To those who have experienced this, what specific action has been done? There are times di naman nag lock pero most of the time nag lo-lock. I will have my unit checked today. Its another problem.....TIA

    Kasi diba from P to R, and N to R, kailangan naka apak sa brakes.

    meron na ba naka encounter na nageengine shutdown? scary naman lalo na kung nagoovertake ka during long drives

    Si caster naka experience na ng engine shutdown.

    2 or 3 times na. Yung 2nd attack yata yung nag oovertake siya.

    Exactly sir naka brakes at madiin pa at di talaga papasok kung kulang. Sideways palang going to right from P ayaw na gumalaw...Derecho ko na sana kangina sa casa kung di lang sila lunch break at talagang di mag shift from N to R, P to R. After lunch naman pupunta na sa casa, gumana hangang sa reverse parking sa bahay from sch. I hope di sa gearbox ang problema. Fully sealed pa naman ang automatic transmission ng Tucson.

    this happened to my wife about a week ago while parking sa office nila.. sobrang hassle.. she asked hyundai global to IMMEDIATELY go to her office parking to check and do something..

    grabe, we're so disappointed with this car.. is HARI even reading the complaints we have???

    is the problem experienced on what variant of the tucson IX if you may add? thanks sir.

    it could be a problem with the brake switch or if you will notice you will hear a click of a relay when you move the stick shift from P toward the right part, you can hear it even though you dont stick it in R. try to observe if your hearing the same sound. i think its the one thats interfaced with the AT transmission to signal a change in gear.

    Parang puro Theta II ang may problema.

    Ang napansin ko lang na problem na meron ang Theta II at CRDi ay yung issue sa Aircon.

Issues sa Tucson 2010
