Guys, okay ba ang 3rd gen tucson crdi? Trying to prospect palang as replacement sana sa lumang subcompact sedan. Biggest concern ko is yung sa a/c niya. Baka marami kasing issues since it's a korean make. Aside from that, parang sa suspension din ata meron if i'm not mistaken? Sana mga minor lang if ever. Tia.

If you know a good aircon mechanic, then AC problem won't be an issue.
But if not and mag rely lang sa CASA, prepare to shell out 70k-100k range.
Replace lahat kasi recommendation usually ng CASA.

Di naman maiiwasan ang issues ng isang car pag may edad na pero ayoko lang is ung babalik pa uli sa pagawaan just to repair the same exact problem after a short time. Recurring kumbaga, kahit pulido naman ang pag-ayos. Sa city naman mostly gagamitin ang car if ever. Mga point a to point b lang, hatid/sundo, mall at grocery kadalasan. Pa minsan minsan posible din ang deliveries ng small, light goods rito at doon. Then occasionally out-of-town trips sa baguio or subic, mga ganun.

3rd gen i think mas ok na yan.. yung tropa ko naka bili ng 2nd gen tucson (2nd hand).. no issues naman tapos 4wd na.. unang bumigay on 1st year of use eh yun compressor magnetic clutch..

pero sa AC madami brands ang may issue kasi iba ang supplier nyan.. denso, doowon, sanden.. halos lahat may issue yan sila.. kahit yung toyota altis dati madalas din mapundi yung magnetic clutch

Diesel vs Gas variant difference. Mababawi mo yan depending on the mileage you put every year. The more mileage you put the earlier mo mababawi yung difference.
You have to understand that diesel engines are more fuel efficient than their counterpart gas engine. Thou it is offset by the slightly higher PMS cost.
Get the Corolla Cross Hybrid or Nissan Kicks e-power if you plan mostly city driving.
Hybrids are less fuel efficient in Highway conditions. They are best in City and Stop and go traffic.

fuel pump prices are still in wild flux.
we can't predict with reliability, when and how the fuel prices will eventually go.
bottomline, it's a wild ride, whether one goes diesel or gasoline.

and if there is no fatal flaw, naman,
why not get a workhorse toyota or mitsubishi?
their prices and maintenance costs might be less headache-y than hyundai's.

Which the government will never let happen because majority of the PUV/trucks are still using Diesel. Even with diesel higher than gasoline the biggest trade off is come reselling the car.
Resale value of diesel cars are way higher than their gasoline counterparts.
Just check the prices of same year model Gas and Diesel Innovas compared to their purchase price. Ask any Buy and sell agent how much they are willing to buy a Gas versus a Diesel Innova.
Until we fully shift to Hybrids and EV's for our PUV and majority of our cars then Diesel will continue to rule the fuel debate here in the phil.

Yes maganda nga rin siya. Might go for gas variant since mostly city driving lang naman. Sana lang magkaron na sila ng test drive. Gusto ko naman muna ma-try before kumuha.

Wala na ata na brand new na gas innova since 2021 facelift. Lahat 2.8 diesel na.

Or they should bring back gas variant in the next update innova with the 2.7l fortuner gas engine
