with the stock mags na 17, i maintain it at 33psi... i tried it reducing it to 30psi pero ganun padin at naramdaman ko medyo bumigat steering, i tried it for several days naman na 35psi, ganun din pero ok steering gumaan, pero nag worry naman ako baka sobra over inflated kaya binalik ko sa 33psi.
Meron yata solid pulley from old starex na pwede sa tucson.

sir brake light switch ang problema niyan, that was my problem 3 years ago. hyundai shaw replaced it 3 times. each time had to wait almost half a day sa pila tho under warranty. i discovered from google madali lang pala, bought the part sa seiring araneta parang 350pesos lang, replaced it myself wala pang 10minutes. and never na nasira ulit. look under the steering wheel and trace the brake pedal pataas makikita mo na ang switch. google the image and instructions. hope this helps
Hello guys,
Need your help/expertise please. I'm considering getting a tucson 2011/2012 as a daily, all-around errand car for my employees back there in Pinas but I'm a bit concerned about the parts availability if something breaks. The comments I've read re parts availability are not very encouraging, is it true that local parts sellers don't stock up on hyundai parts and it can take weeks or event months to get them? I would buy the x-trail or escape buy my employees prefer tucson and I'd like to keep them happy, but this serviceability/parts availability worries me.
Would greatly appreciate your inputs.
Regards,
Bill
Parts are abundant sa Banawe.
Iba na ang mga tao sa Banawe lalo na yan Fronte, one of the reasons not to get a Hyundai Anymore, I guess,

I have a 2014 Tucson diesel 4x4 automatic. Now on 21K++ mileage. It should have the same engine as the current one.
1. Engine has adequate power for its equivalent displacement. On long highway stretches, hindi ka maiiwan (actually mauunahan mo pa) ..
2. Parts availability should be good. No major repairs (thankfully) in our Tucson, except for the usual service parts.
3. Break-in? Personally, I did nothing. Went to Baguio on the first weekend after we took delivery of it, then drove it like I stole it. But, in your case the proverbial 80 kph speed limit before the 1000 km mark is okay, should you choose to follow it.
4. On 4x4 (lock) mode, it will happily traipse in the most sandy of beaches.
5. Fuel economy is around 12 to 15 km per litre on strictly Unioil Euro 4 diesel.
6. My wife drives it, because its small.
Good luck on your purchase.

Still, its your choice on whether or not to buy a vehicle or not. At the end of the day, ikaw pa rin masusunod di ba?
Or you can scan the classifieds for pre-owned units.
Diesel for me, hands down, no regrets. Even if it costs more. The go factor is more than worth it.
