I have hyundai tucson 2009 model diesel engine crdi planning to install diesel engine Ultima Powerdrive, wondering if anyone have tried it? Please do comment.

meron po kaming pinapagawa ng hyundai tucson 2011, nabangga kasi sa NLEX nawreck yung quarter sa likod.
Pwede nyo po ba akong i-point kung saan makakabili ng mga quarter panel at parts? nasa garahe na kasi ng latero at sabi nya nahihirapan sya maghanap ng parts.

On another note, purchased recently a 2016 CRDi a/t unit.

Very easy all-arounder. Getting around 9km/L to 10km/L in city driving and 12-13km/l on the highway with my usual driving habits.

So far i've added 19" Rota rims on 235/45R19 tyres, then i'll soon have the rear A/C vent provision installed, along with additional steering controls (cruise and audio) and drive mode switches.

A used current gen CRDi doesn't come by too often lately; you see a lot of gas units up for sale though.

Looks great with those rims bro. I usually see them only on Foresters but they go well with the Tucson too. Will you be adding foglamps as well?

Front and rear fog lamps will follow in a month or so. It's gonna cost me around 20K if I get all original, including the stalk switch.


Installing rear AC vents, drive mode and cruise control switches at the moment.

*minicar, brand new is 1.388 w 100-120k discount as of last month. 2016 CRDi units will sell for around 900K to 950K.

^ Yes, shook hands with the owner at P950K to be exact.

Got to install the following yesterday:

Steering controls (cruise control and radio controls are functional while i need to upgrade my stereo if i would want to activate the hands free mobile phone options).



Drive mode swich (power - eco - normal). The sport mode definitely has more aggressive shift points (including downshifting) and pedal input response.



And rear AC vent. Some retrofitting had to be done and we had to shut off the foot well vents to give the rear air vents ample airflow (unless i change the venting assembly under the dash to one from the GLS model).
