Does anyone know a reputable shop that specializes in Hyundai vehicles? Casa quoted P78K for this additional work so would like to find another shop that can handle the job for less cost.

Also, my AC is experiencing intermittent problems. Sometimes nawawala yung cold air after a long drive or on standstill in traffic for a long time. I just turn off the AC for 30 secs para mag reset then ok na ulet.

However, Casa said may bara raw and they need to replace many parts (evaporator assy., expansion valve, thermistor, filters, etc.) to correct the problem. And they are asking P37K for it. Not sure if all those need to be replaced talaga but would want a second opinion from a shop that specializes on Hyundai AC systems. Can anyone recommend a good shop for this?

Sorry, tried searching the forum first for answers but got negative hits despite 750+ pages on the thread

Thanks in advance for anyone's help...
Wag ka na babalik sa casa. Tutal out of warranty naman yan. Sa aircon bring it to recommended aircon specialist. No need for hyundai specialist.

So where are you located para makasuggest ang iba ng pupuntahan mo

you may call Seiring if they have the original parts, and let casa install them. you'll save a lot (like rotor disc more or less 4k instead of 9k sa casa).

Wala na yung talyer nila unlike Fronte in Banaue. If you have trusted mekaniko, Ok din. Sa Hyundai casa, hindi pa naman ako nanakawan, unlike sa isa kong dating Japanese casa, he he. Pwede mo ding silipin paminsan minsan.

some casas recommend this and that replaced, not because it is worn, but because it is in the schedule.

if your car is already out of warranty, you may consider getting a second opinion.
bring the car to .... banawe! go to an aircon shop and ask them.
go to a suspension shop and ask them.
but i do not recommend having a mekaniko who has no parking space, to qutingting your car.
in my experience, the banawe pricing is usually 50% or even less, than casa's.

    good luck.

Hi! So I'm in the market for a new car. My choices are Subaru XV, Mitsu ASX, Mazda CX5, and Hyundai Tucson. I initially wanted the new XV kasi ang ganda kaya lang space-wise medyo nasisikipan ako sa loob. The ASX naman on the other hand is okay pero hindi narerecline yung 2nd row seat. So that leaves me to CX5 and Tucson. Since you guys are here, I assume that your votes would go to the Tucson. Can you enlighten me why Tucson is more bang for the buck than the CX5? By the way, I'm eyeing for the gas variant not the diesel one. Thank you in advance sa mga sasagot!

Just had my crdi tucson's front rotors replaced sa Fronte. Rotors were replacement ones lang and guys said there that they perform the same as the OEMs ones. Had rear stab link and bushings replaced din. Total was just 4.8k.

    Agree 100%.

But if space wasn't an issue, the XV is a better choice since there are more toys and bling inside.
