Just got my Tucson 2017 2.0 AT GL Gas -- 75km now. Average fuel economy is 7.5km / L -- mostly on the average 40 - 60 km/H ang driving condition.. Is there a chance na mag improve pa ang fuel economy nya?

in all the (non-hyundai) cars that we bought, brand new, fuel economy definitely got better after the so-called breaking-in period. in some, the improvement kicked in as late as after 11 thousand km

Thanks. I was hoping it improves over time like you said. I bought a b-new Adventure last 2012 - from start till now under mixed driving condition gives me 10 to 11 km/L using Full Tank method (very reliable old machine)... I doubted how Hyundai computes FC though, perhaps I should do the full tank method too.

We have the same variant. Mine clocked in roughly 1500KM already. Average FC 9-10Km/L (City/Hi-Way). As what Dr. D stated, fuel consumption will still improve overtime.

for the same reason banks don't manufacture cars.
"it's not their field of specialization."

i wouldn't be surprised if casas are prevented by law, from going into the money business and competing with banks.

    * Your recirculate flap may be stuck on "fresh" air mode.
    * Your AC filter is already dirty.

Newbie here and still contemplating which car is best for me. Di ako sure kung na mention na dito before, pero magkano ba aabutin ng maintenance ng Tucson for 1 year if within metro manila lang gagamitin ?

    Guys, need some help...

Just recently had my 2010 Tucson serviced at the Casa. They diagnosed some suspension issues (replace arm, assembly, front rotor disc and brake pads) plus need replace 2 tires daw.

Does anyone know a reputable shop that specializes in Hyundai vehicles? Casa quoted P78K for this additional work so would like to find another shop that can handle the job for less cost.

Also, my AC is experiencing intermittent problems. Sometimes nawawala yung cold air after a long drive or on standstill in traffic for a long time. I just turn off the AC for 30 secs para mag reset then ok na ulet.

However, Casa said may bara raw and they need to replace many parts (evaporator assy., expansion valve, thermistor, filters, etc.) to correct the problem. And they are asking P37K for it. Not sure if all those need to be replaced talaga but would want a second opinion from a shop that specializes on Hyundai AC systems. Can anyone recommend a good shop for this?

Sorry, tried searching the forum first for answers but got negative hits despite 750+ pages on the thread

Thanks in advance for anyone's help...
