I have the 3 yr warranty booklet but the dealer also gave me an extended 2-yr warranty booklet as well. Actually the 2-yr extension is conditional according to the dealer. They will check if you properly maintained the vehicle at the CASA for the first 3-yr period before you can be eligible for the next 2-yr term. So you should abide by the prescribed PMS schedule before we can avail of the extended warranty. Was this explained to you guys as well?

Thanks, i got 2 booklet from my dealer, a SERVICE PASSPORT (White) and the WARRANTY INFORMATION & MAINTENANCE RECORD (Yellow & Black). both of which specified 36 month/100K km. can you tell me what is the cover color of the extended warranty?

thanks will be going back to my dealer tomorrow about this. No it was not explain to me about the conditional extended warranty. but i will ask all the same. thanks can you pls tell me what is the color of the extended warranty booklet?

Not sure if this applies to the units distributed here but there appears to be some other alarm related options that can be programmed as long as the dealer has the equipment (from www.hmaservice.com).

Mag-one week na si SF ko sa Sat.

Observations:

The unlock toggle at the front (driver and passenger side) can still unlock the doors kahit na naka-lock. Medyo nakakatakot to kasi paano kung moving at high speed then na-unlock mo sya.
Sabi sa Manual ganito daw talaga to.

Ano ba tunog ng SF niyo pag nalulubak?
Mine is parang ung tunog ng Shock Absorber na nasasagad pero I feel this on the rear right tire. Hindi naman lahat ng tires ganon ang tunog.

Kahit na bagalan ko approach ko pag may lubak, ganon pa din tunog pero not all the time. Parang depende sa lubak.

Help naman po. Ganon ba talaga yon? Nasa 150km pa lang na-tra-travel ng SF ko.

Pero the ride is smooth talaga. Naawa lang ako sa tunog pag nalulubak. Ung Crosswind na service ng company namin di naman ganon ang tunog pag nalulubak.

Ung blinking led ko di naman na umiilaw pag nasa car na kami.
Blink lang sya if we left the car na naka-park.

if you are talking about the unlock button yung sa harap ng power windows, yes that is normal na when u press that it will unlock, kahit anong car ganyan naman when you press that unlock switch the doors will unlock.

yung tunong ng sf ko pag nalubak is a solid thud, i suggest you check your tire pressure it might be high. kasi at the casa when the sf is delivered to them the tire pressure is 40-42 psi when they turned it over to you they should have lowered it to 30-32 psi. Also, check if the rear seats are locked properly either up or down baka yun ang naririnig mo.

On my SF, Once the lock engages at 20kph, you cant unlock it, it just pops to lock position, you can only unlock it below 20kph.

Same feature for mine. One good thing i noticed is once you open the driver or passenger doors on stop without triggering the unlock button and then close it, no need to grope for your key fob alarm as you won't be able to open the door from the outside anyway. Useful for forgetful peeps.

Mine also has a "thud" sound on uneven or pot-holed roads but noticed that it happens not every time. Was thinking the seatbelt buckle might be rubbing against the plastic sidings or the rear seats are not properly latched. My front tire pressure is 31ps while the rear is 30ps and am using nitro ever since i changed mine to 20"s. No difference in road or handling feel from the stock 17"s.

On my SF, Once the lock engages at 20kph, you cant unlock it, it just pops to lock position, you can only unlock it below 20kph.

haven't tried that yet. Though the case where I discovered this was when the car was on Full Stop in an intersection.

Sinubukan ko i-unlock using the toggle and whoa bumukas sya kahit na naka-lock ung car. Nataranta tuloy ako kasi may nag-beep na sound and GO na sa Intersection.

Isa pa sa na-discover ko:
The wiper when in Low setting automatically goes to the next speed if the car picks up speed and goes back to Low when you stop. Anggaling.

What I meant was the Unlock Handle. Ung kulay Silver (metaalic plastic)

There was a time kasi na in one of my trips, I locked all doors using the Power Door Lock Switch and then we came into an intersection so naka-stop ung car. Sinbukan ko lang na i-open ung door using the Unlock Handle and bumukas ung door and then tumunog ung beep. Nataranta talaga ako kasi I am not expecting na bubukas ung door kasi naka-lock sya and bigla pa nag-GO sa intersection.

Based sa Manual, ganon daw talaga yon. Parang unsafe ata.

In any car talagang mabubuksan mo yung driver side door even it is on Lock position. No more hassle on unlocking the Power Door Lock Switch, dahil pati other doors ay mabubuksan(rear and hatch will be unlocked too). Mas OK ito para sa akin dahil safer sya...Sa SF natin pati passenger side ay pwedeng magbukas ng door kahit naka-lock pa.

Another cool feature on our SF is the warning/beeping sound if we forgot to disengage the footbrake and started to drive-off

I was once driving my SF into our garage. I remember I engaged the Foot Break so I can open the gate.

Pagpasok sa garahe at papatayin ko na ung engine. naka-foot break na pala. kaya pala hirap syang umakyat ng garahe. he he he.

Went to my dealer today. they explain extended service booklet will be given to me after 2-3 weeks. the GM showed me extended warranty booklet for those units released in july and august. i'll just wait for 3 weeks and see what happens. Had my speed-sensing doorlock activated at 25kph. thanks guys.

Does our SF have alarm? the SA said no alarm but keyless entry only. i tried to open door via key after pressing lock button on remote. no alarm sounded? Is it my unit or all new SFs does not come with alarm?
