or other brands muna before deciding...

Yung AVT according to Dragonheart mahina reception ng TV,ewan ko yung AVT ni LadyRider

Ganda nga sa long drive...pwede naka magic sing/ps2/psp slim/ipod/dvd/etc

Kung gagamit kayo ng TV tuner mas ok kung install first ang TV antenna before tint sa windshied for good reception and better kung di metallic yung tint na gagamitin sa windshield

kung sounds lang naman ok na yung stock natin..add ng sub if you want then upgrade speakers later

dapat nasa EB ka para ma compare mo diff. brands and then you decide

But then again, almost all car headlights nowadays are made of plastic. Do you agree? So, the possibility of it occurring in other car makes is also possible. Hence, they must be defective too. .
Okay Ladies & Gents, as a follow up on my light problems here is the story...
A week ago I emailed cpc*hyundai-asia.com as provided here in this forum by DragonHeart(thanks a lot!) and sure it paid off. Last Saturday, the SA called and informed me that parts are ready and he asked for the car so the work could start asap. It was already late on a Saturday afternoon so we agreed that I'll bring in the car today (Monday) and they can change the lights. To make the story short, the lights were changed and I took the car back home confident. While on the way home, a short heavy downpour met us along the way with my wife. I didn't mind at all because in my mind the lights installed were brand new and the works was done at the casa.

Upon reaching home, I parked the car in the garage and checked the lights that were replaced. To my horrifying experience, the moist was there again - present everywhere. The only light with the least moist was the one which they did not replace on the rear right tail light. But the rest was just the same as before to think that it was all brand new. I called immediately the SA and I took some photos. I have to bring again the car to the casa tomorrow so they can have another look why it happened. This is terribly unbelievable!

Wow!!! Hindi kaya yung rubber gasket yung may problema? Did they change it with a new one or used the old one? When I read your post before, natakot ako baka it might happen to me. I have my SF since july last year and I use high pressure washer to clean my car almost everyday, and I have been through several heavy downpour while driving at night, so far wala naman moist na nag dedevelop. Ang malas naman if your the replacement you got is also defective, but it might happen, especially from the same batch na defective. Thanks for sharing, keep us updated.

It could be. I'm also starting to suspect along that line. Baka yong previous light ayos but then there is a problem on the receptacle. Hindi siguro maganda ang sealing. But I still don't know how moisture could get in. Carried by ambient air and through the harness? I didn't ask actually if they have changed gaskets. But tomorrow I have to take again the car to the casa.

my suggestion is to email again HARI and explain to them that after the replacement the same thing happens. this is so that they can send their own technician to look at it.

Tama, wag ka na makipagsapalaran. Perfect kasi ang Fort, Outlander, saka CRV along with all Japs. Walang defects, puro black propaganda lang yung mga threads regarding the recalls of those Japanese brands. Galeng galeng naman, palakpakan naman jan.:clap:Sana 4 na getz na lang binili ko, iba ibang colors pa.

*mars - paint protection at big berts araneta qc or ortigas. Make sure you use microtex orig, kung kaya lahat ng colors kunin mo na saka walter blade cali duster. When you wipe your SF, less force lagi apply mo even with shampoo. OCD ako e Interiors, vacuum once a week, I use armor all all purpose protectant.
*LR - D ba naka commemorative plate ka naman sa SF, wala ng coding yan.

Thanks Sirs (CI90 & Tiboyx3m) - already had my paint proctection sa big berts last sunday and tama kayo galing nga ng service nila. Kanina umaga i used Armor All na gel dun sa dashboard and seats. I'm planning to do the following upgrades hope you can help me:
    • stepboard
    • alarm

Saang casa ba yan godwhacker? Paki post naman for future reference. And yes, do keep us posted. May I suggest tom after the service to your lights is done. Simulate a similar condition of driving your car with heavy downpour by using a hose aimed at your lights turned on for a considerable amount of time just like last night before you leave the casa. Just to be sure everything's smooth na. Hope it's sensible.

1st of all, wag ka buy ng imitation water blade. Orig na bilhin mo if ever.
Wait for other responses. Congrats ulit.
