[quote=C190;991031]I can understand that in this forum some of the posters are having their own interests especially when they are trying to sell a product and if by chance the SF is one of them. I posted my problem here in the hope that I could help educate potential buyers of SF what advantages and the pitfalls they may have to face in the future. I am sorry if I may have caused you some trouble if I divulged here a weakness the SF may possess. I am just advocating consumer awareness especially when buying a new car with one's hard earned money and what you will get next when problems hit you.
I didn't post my earlier pics because I was obliged to prove if I am not a spoiler. I post the pics of my headlight because it is fact of the problem for everyone to see. I don't have to mind your questioning about my motives since my aim is to share to potential buyers what they ought to know about the SF and most important "the after market support" which I was trying to highlight here. Anyway, here are the pics of my car which I bought on Sept. 25 last year...

My sales agent is a lady named Mary Ann Barquero 09214857354
And my service advisor is a guy named Ruben ...09229963326
Feel free to contact them with HYUNDAI CEBU if you are interested on my case.
I didn't get any reply from HARI thru email as their means of reply was through the service advisor advising me to bring the car to the casa for the job to be done. And to set things straight, when I took the car to the casa this morning, I was asked and to decide if it was alright with me if they will take existing lights from other brand new units yet to be sold but with lights already exposed under the sun and installed in my unit. So I told them it is fine with me so long as the problem goes away. In fact the guy told me that that was the suggestion from the main office in Manila. That's it. As they say, paki observe lang po and report to us kung may problema pa.
Late in the afternoon today, I brought back the car home and indeed some improvement happened. The left headlight that was worst of all was crystal clear but the right side has still some traces which again I took some pictures. I didn't mean to harm anyone here.

If proven talaga, mag so-sorry ako sayo personally,
btw my seminar po kami dyan sa Cebu next week,EB tayo
Paki sagot po mga tanong ko:
1.Name ng Sales Agent nyo and contact #(cellphone/office landline)
3. conduction sticker number
4.Photocopy ng email replied ng HARI
5.Pics ng service passport
*godwhacker - How about the rear tail lights? May improvement din ba? Right front headlights na lang pala. Its really a pain having to go back time and again to get the results we need. But IMHO, there's no other way around it but to extend some more patience. The good news is, the intention to satisfy you with after sales service is genuine. Kung maiiwan mo sa kanila yung unit mo for a thorough observation mas mainam pero it's something you and the dealer should talk about.
Btw, if you don't mind, do you have any other concerns with your unit so far?
Mine is only over a month old, same color pa tayo. So far (honestly), no complaints here. Is there something I and the rest of the owners and would be owners need to watch out for? TIA![]()
See my post above. I hope it anwered most of your questions. And there's no need to apologize. The pics I have shown earlier speak for themselves. If you are from HARI then you can get copies of it there. And you can get in touch with the names and phone numbers I already posted. BTW...The service people in HYUNDAI cebu have already seen the problem in physical. Sorry next week I won't be available. May business trip po ako. Ayos sana kung this week you can come and I'll be glad to show you it in actual kung halimbawa ma teimpohan. Better you come this week and you can also witness the Sinulog celebration. It would be fun.

Btw where did you get the rear bumper light?
Bakit wala plate #,ilan na mileage?
By Feb pasyal ako dyan sa Cebu, baka pwede mo pm contact# mo to see you personally![]()
So far wala pa except this moisture buildup in the headlights. What I think was that based from story they told me at the casa, nag simulate sila nang water spray at wala na sila makitang moist. But when I arrive home ang right side na headlight nagkakaroon pa rin maybe because the engine was still hot and there was remaining moisture inside the lamp housing na hindi nila mapuna kung hindi pinatakbo ng several kilometers ang car. The most important thing is naniwala na ako na concern din pala ang HARI kung may reklamo. And one thing more... nag insulate sila ng mga seal points sa ilaw-raw!
*godwhacker - Maraming salamas sir. I would be discussing this with my SA din kung kelangan ko ng sealant just to be sure.
[quote=C190;991303]Hindi ko matandaan sa odo ang exact but nasa 2700+ na. My wife uses it most of the time. I prefer to walk. And meron na pong plate. YFU 9XX -hindi ko lang sabihin rito because I want to maintain my privacy. And regarding my rear bumper light...kasama yan sa pagbili. Freebies ---3M tint, matting, 3 year free LTO registration. Pinalagyan ko ng mud guard pero bayad ako ng 2.8T but with my stepboard ang rear lang pala ang malagyan. Cg pm kita pag nasa bahay ako on Feb.
Good Evening Santa Fe buddies!!!
This forum helped me a lot in deciding what kind of SUV to buy. Ive been a silent reader of this forum for quite some time.
2 days ago, i went to Hyundai Sucat to get my Ebony Black 4x4 2.2 CRDi.
This is my 2nd SUV, and to tell you honestly.......superb...wala akong masabi. Parang hindi deisel, sobrang tahimik and the power...impressive.
I'm really enjoying it, every second and every minute...
Welcome to the Club!!! And don't forget this link...keep it handy kasi balang araw you don't know it and you will need this...

BTW buddies, i'm from Baguio.
Last Saturday, nung kinuha ko ung santa fe, umuulan and after parking it, the first thing i did was to check ung headlights, wala naman akong napansin na moisture build-up.
Driving SF here,.. great experience.
