Hyundai ACCENT Hatch CRDI 1.6

Hi guys! Question, I will be changing my tint for Accent Sedan. Have you heard of Solaroid tint? Nakita ko kasi sa fb super black and hindi kita sa loob pero pag nasa loob sobrang liwanag.
If you have ever experienced using Solaroid, i would like to hear your review about it and would you recommend it? Thanks!

my only major step back ko lang on this accent is yung durability ng mga parts and kung easy to find replacements sa mga parts na masira if ever. other than that wala na. gusto ko na lahat

sana nga may bagonglumabas na accent

Parts are plenty & cheap if you know where to buy outside casa of course.

So I backread a bit and saw some remarks na yung clutch pedal ng mt variant e matigas? First car ko sana, pero matagal nang nagddrive, matic nga lang (driver ako ng ate ko haha). Gusto ko sanang bumalik ng manual kasi dun naman talaga ako natuto magdrive although it's been 4 years more or less nung huli akong nagmanual.

Mahirap ba talaga for a semi beginner yung clutch pedal? Is it serious enough na I should just take the plunge and get the dct instead? Nanghihinayang kasi ako sa price difference, ang laki.

Also, ano bang mamimiss out ko kung yung mt ang kunin ko instead of the dct?

Indeed. Haha. Parang pagibig lang din. Kahit matagal mo nang di nagagawa, kapag andyan na alam mo na gagawin mo. Lol.

Anyway, I plan on modifying my first car (aesthetics lang naman) so mas advisable ba na 2nd hand na lang ang bilhin ko? Di rin kasi ako naniniwala sa warranty e. Ano bang known issues ng Accent that I should be aware of? Wala rin akong alam masyado sa car maintenance though marami akong kakilala na mekaniko so di naman siguro magiging problema.

The most important advise for any newbie is to READ THE MANUAL. All important data is found in the manual. One of the most important is in the first chapter, on how properly BREAK IN your car.

Proper maintenance & cooling down lang yan. It doesn't matter what brand is your car, turbo charger repair/replacement is always expensive.
Kaya nga dapat regular change oil & proper turbo charger cooling down is a must.

Hindi naman ganun kaselan ang turbo ng Accent. It isn't even made by Hyundai, but a third party (Garret). Basta proper maintenance like what weisshorn said. Sa manual, it's 20 seconds warm up & 1 minute cool down is sufficient. Proper change oil intervals using CI-4+ oil & regular changes/cleaning of the air filter is sufficient enough.

AFAIK walang issue yun sir. Kasi pag namatayan ka ng makina, that means meron oil sa turbo. And if you start it up right away, oil will continue to flow through the turbo so no damage will be done.

punta ka sa OLX. search mo ung zic fully synthetic diesel engine oil 5w/30w. madami lalabas na seller hanapin mo ung may name na 'Rome'. naka order na ko sa kanya for my Tucson Revgt. I've been using Zic since 2013 i used to buy it in seiring. Mas mura kay Rome flexible sya sa meet up place.

This is just me, but if I have to wait for someone, I will usually park, shut off the engine & get out of the car. Aside from the wasted fuel, excess soot build up & premature engine wear, you will not do the environment any good by spewing carbon monoxide & other noxious gases into the athmosphere.
