Tama naman gingawa mo bro. We've all been there at your stage right now. Yun feeling every move kailangan pag-isipan. Like what the others have chimed in, timpla timpla lang ng clutch brake and gas ang kailangan dyan sa ganyan situation. How much you release your clutch and the timing of gas and brake is like a symphony if sanay ka na. Listen and feel the engine. You don't even have to think about anything. You get there by practicing with your car. It's only during actual usage of your particular car is when you find her sweet spot. Ika nga kung asan yun kiliti nya. .

Just make sure you don't practice where you might cause an accident.

Lahat ng new cars na dumaan sa akin hindi ako nag full synthetic until 5k kms run. That is to give the engine internal parts sufficient time to set in (aka break-in).
Adjustment of head light should be stated in the manual, please check kung meron.

i noticed stronger vibrations ng matraffic ako after 15 mins not moving.. i have to touch the panel na lalagyanan ko ng barya to stop the vibration when i remove my hand vibrations again.. also some odd smell after nawala naman agad after i off and on ng aircon.. ano kaya yun?

That is wrong to think you will only come back at 10k PMS after using fully synthetic at 1K PMS. You still have to go back at 5k PMS for top-off ng FS oil and change filter.

Ako personally semi-synthetic lang ako up to 5k PMS. Then fully synthetic na thereafter.

btw estimated consumption ko 14 - 17km/l magiimprove pa to sa 1k pms sir?

most likely hindi lang kayo nagkaintindihan. Kung mag fully synthetic ka kasi at 1K PMS, your next oil change is at 10K PMS, pero may top-off ng oil pa din and change filter at 5K PMS.

Yun consumption mo is more or less the same as what i observed during my first 1,000 km pero sobrang trapik inabot ko noon during raod trip to Ilocos last Holy Week.

Now at 6,000+ km worst is 16km/li best is 20.6 km/li. so yes it was better now after 5,000km. I'm using accent HB 7DCT.

Drive it normally. Seriously. No need to baby cars when they're new. Just don't subject the car to redline shifts and very hard acceleration until the first 1000 km.

Hi, planning to buy a Accent Hatch 1.6 CRDi GL 7AT-DCT (Dsl). I would to know the fuel consumption in heavy edsa traffic. Will be used as a daily drive. Qc to makati via edsa. Also any known issues that i should be aware? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Hello po mga idol, pa help.

May accent 2010 ako, na gutter ako *30-40kph, after nun medyo kumakabig na sa kanan, papaayos ko sana. Ok ba yung PowerTorq na shop sa may Congressional, QC? Medyo mura sila maningil. Pero if meron po kayo ma share na experience with them, highly appreciated. And kung meron kayo iba alam na maayos na shop around QC, pa share nadin po. Then kung may papalitan na parts, san ok bumili ng parts? Pano ko malalaman na orig yung parts?

My 2012 accent crdi is 59000 kms on the odometer. Last month I noticed a little loss of power. Although its still quick, its not punchy as it was before. When its still new I feel the turbo is providing boost at 1500 rpm. Now it doesnt anymore and I feel it at 2000 rpm. I usually operate the car at 2100 rpm in 6th gear on expressways and rarely go beyond 3000 rpm.

The car is regularly maintained at a gas station replacing the oil and filter every 5000 kms. The last two oil change i used fully sythn mitasu.

I was wondering if the egr needs to be check and clean. Any thoughts? By the way, could you point me where the egr is? Is a clogged egr a possibility?

I dont want to do it by myself Im just curious- in end ill asked a mechanic to check it. Im new to cars so your suggestions is a big help.

Langis? Wag mo pansinin yan. That must be coming from pcv. Sa odometer reading mo it's time to clean egr valve & cooler, change fuel filter din. Malinis ba ang air filter? Clean with carb cleaner ang throttle valve. HTH

Yes langis po. Air filter is dirty- I forgot to replace this during the last pm.

by the way, yung steering wheel and shifter mo ba is leather/leatherette or urethane?

Kanina po kasi nung bmibyahe ako pa alabang, may nakita ako na accent sedan na black diesel (may crdi na name sa likod), tanong ko lang if ano-ano na po ba yung available colors for hyundai accent diesel variant?? ang alam ko lng kasi before is silver and white lng??
