Ito ang isang bagay na naobserbahan ko sa mga hyundai dealerships na napagtanungan ko. Hindi pare-pareho ang sinsabi nila sa mga specs ng units nila.
katulad na lang nito nabili ko na bagong accent hatch 7DCT, sabi sa specs na binigay nila eh, disc brakes sa front, drum brakes daw sa rear, so i was pleasantly surprised that the unit given to me was disc brakes on front and back. I was so happy i felt i was given free upgrade.

Yun head unit nya is the same lang with the sedan version.

my unit also has projector headlamps and DRL.

I worked out a deal with my SA from Hyundai North edsa to install fog lights, change rims to alloys and install reverse camera, pumayag naman granted that i added 14+ thousand to the sticker price. Ok na OK na deal na yun for me kasi I'm from Mindanao and hindi madali para sa akin pumunta sa Banawe at magpa-install ng mga added features na yun. besides, it was Casa installed so everything is warrantied.

speaking of DCT, nabanggit rin saken ng SA na less maintenance daw ang transmission ng DCT compare sa non DCT nakalimutan ko lang kung ano yun. No idea pa ako sa mga ganyan

Yes bro. And coming from several cars with non-projector headlamps, the lighting difference is quite noticeable. Hindi ko lang alam bakit non projectors yun HB na pinakita sa iyo. Maybe SA error lang din? Maybe you can go to another dealership?
For me, dealmaker or deal breaker kung madali or mahirap kausap ang SA. Usually if you're nice to the SA, they would try their best to accommodate your requests.

The turbo of the accent (as I checked) is made by Garrett. I don't know the exact part number though.

Sadly no. It's still a 14" alloy. but I'd take it any day over the steel rims with plastic cap. That one I just could not take.

A buddy of my hatch who used to race took one look at the turbo of my hatch & said it's a Garett. I dunno how he knew, he just knows more about cars than I do. He even noticed the braided (-) battery cable. He said those braided cables conduct electricity better & it used to be so hard to find.

You'll see the Garrett brand if you pull out the intake tube. It's embossed in the turbocharger unit. I didn't know about the braided battery cable. Indeed Hyundai has spent a considerable amount of time in designing the Accent (maybe even its other models). I even noticed the intercooler is mounted in such a way that any residue oil coming from the breather will self drain to the intake pipe below for easy cleaning. If you check it, the hose leading to the intercooler is connected at the very bottom.

Since I travel STAR tollway weekly using my hatch, the route from Ibaan to SLEX is downhill. 1.8L/100kms is easily attainable. Try measuring the FC from SLEX to Ibaan & you'd most likely get 5+ since it is mostly uphill. Dapat flattest road possible. That translates to 55kms/lit, a figure HARI got in their test run which is not a real world figure.

Nag-inquire ako bro sa hyundai website, tumawag sakin yung hyundai las pinas. Sabi mavvoid daw yung warranty kahit same exact specs except kapag sa kanila ka bibili.. Kamote..

I naman magsusumbong mekaniko. The only time ma void warranty pa may nasira sa suspension, dun mo na lang ibalik yung stock tires.
