the all new kia soul crdi and accent HB have the same engine(1.6 crdi vgt U2 engine). i guess fuel consumption is almost identical or baka mas matipid pa ang soul dahil 6 a/t ito compare sa 4 a/t. i heard kia is offering a 50k discount kaya 970k nalang ang soul.

Will just avail the top of the line hatchback....
Before you decide, check nyo rin KIA (sister company ng Hyundai) Caren's. Same form factor, 7 seater, all disc din, same engine, same fuel efficiency & mas maraming features kesa sa TOTL accent. Baka sa discount, halos magkasing price na.

Agree po ako sa carens.. Ganda ng reviews and i also happen to have a friend na ahente sa kia mabili daw carens sakanila maganda kasi performance at panalo features.. Bang for the buck lalo kung may budget ka almost 1M i say go for kia carens..
that is the correct price but since they are not selling that much, afaik, Kia is aggressive in giving discount. I think the advice to check Carens is toward the one who plans to get the TOTL Accent hatch (because of Hyundai's stupidity to remove some safety features in the lower trims)
I agree. The Caren's is not a bang for the buck car. It is a great car, but for the size, I think it might be over spec's, pushing the price up too high. The TOTL Accent is also an overpriced car, pushing 1M for a sub compact car. I was just suggesting that rather than getting the TOTL Accent, then explore the Caren's first since price may turn out the same with discounts (if any).

Top gear put the Caren's & the Peugeot 3008 head to head. Caren's won that but, for some reason, I see more Peugeot 3008 on the road more than I do the Caren's, at least on my side of town (down south)

Thanks sa mga inputs mga sir. Pero hatchback na sporty type po ang gusto ni misis and yung matipid sa diesel. We have already decided to get the TOTL Hyundai Accent HB. We have already reserved for a unit and hopefully makuha na next week. Maganda din kasi ang mga reviews ni accent HB dito sa forums. Thanks again!
mga sir bka may mga nag bebenta po sa inyo ng 2nd hand na stock mags for HB TOTL, yung 16". please pm me your offer. tnx.
May alam kayo na dealer na meron pa 2013 Accent Hatchback?

Sir, kung makahanap ka man 2013 model. Icheck mo ng mabuti yung unit. Baka kc yung unit ang ginawa dati na pang road test or yung mga nagkameron ng issues like suspension, clutch issues. May 2014 lang ako nakakuha ng unit. Before, 2013 talaga hanap ko kasi mas mura yung price at may ABS + 4disc brakes pero pumasok sa isip ko yung mga ganitong issue kaya I go for the 2014 model atleast palagay ang loob ko na hindi ito nagamit pang road test for the long time. Correct me if I'm wrong sir ha sa mga opinions ko. So far, very happy ako sa unit ko, tipid talaga sa diesel saka malakas naman ang brakes kahit drums yung sa rear.![]()
This is my choice of car. 1.6 tapos diesel pa. Pang lakwatsang kotse.
