Just change the fuel filter(very important). Do an engine decarb. Watch the lower arm bushing. My mechanic says they have to replace the whole lower arm. Some mechanics can change it I think. Ingat na lng sa mga taxi units..

Normal sa diesel engine yan, tatakbo talaga sya kung naka engage ang gear mo, kahit hindi mo tapakan ang accelerator, ang hind normal ay kapag hindi tumakbo yan.

diesels usually have good low end torque.
put it in first gear, and they can move the vehicle, even if they are at idling speed. some will even move it in 2nd gear.

many big-engine gas models can do the same.

guys, any tips on buying a second hand accent crdi? Or should 2nd hand diesels be avoided? What would your max allowable mileage be?

If the 2nd hand unit was maintained properly(with proof of maintenance) i wouldnt hesitate to get it. Whats the reason(by the owner) of selling the vehicle?

In my opinion the 2014 model which has the 4spd automatic is more reliable than the new 7sp dct.

I read it on hyundai forums. Dct failures are abundant. Not really looking into the cause but I think its the higher torque from the turbos.

Anong viscosity ang gamit mo po sa Zic X7? I haven't tried Caltex Delo 400. Pero I am exploring other oils din. Zic X7 is okay. Curious lang ako to try other brands. So far I tried Total INEO 5w30 okay din siya.

sir same 15w 40 ng ZIC. from 5K to 30K ZIC na gamit ko. medyo mahirap makabili ng ZIC dito sa Batangas normally mga dati kong order pick up lang sa mga bus stations from QC seller kaya naghanap ng ibang alternative. so far satisfied naman ako sa performance para saken mas ok sya sa ZIC. dati around 600km+ per full tank automatic ngayon umaabot ng 720km

Nasubukan ko ng masabugan ng battery while driving. Ang cause nag loose isang battery bracket dumikit sa positive eh naka ground yung bracket ayun sumabog. pwedeng ganun din ng yari sayo or defective lang battery mo.

saken sir after 1 year bumigay rin yung battery ko ( Rocket yung brand ) , buti napansin ko kaagad na umuusok at natanggal ko kaagad sa terminal.
nagpalit ako ng battery, gamit ko Amaron GO 2SM. dinala ko sa CASA for warranty approval for 1 week and the na approve naman. sabi saken papalitan daw after 3 weeks.
di dumating ang replacement ng battery ko, nag follow up ako at kinulit ko hanggang sa sinabi ng re imburse na lang daw yung binili ko sa Amaron. ayun nabigyan ako ng 4700 cheque.

yes sir mostly those 2015 and 2016 released. according to a friend Rocket is a good brand in Korea but might not perfom well in tropical countries.
some newly replaced battery from CASA are using Indigo brand

in my opinion, if the engine really needed it, the manufacturer would have installed it.

whypo? what are your concerns?
