i wonder why lumakas sa diesel yung accent crdi manual ko after 5k pms? caltex->unioil->caltex pinapalagay ko minsan pinaghahalo ko dati kaya 1 bar = 60 km ngayon 1 bar = 40km nalang parang hindi maganda nilagay na oil ng casa.

Mga Sirs, I just got the Accent Sedan CRDI manual and I noticed issues.

1. Nagmomoist yung windshield ko sa gabi dun sa part ng windshield defogger vent kahit na front louvers ang current setting ko.

2. Nagjejerk ng konting konti yung car pag mag shift from neutral to 1st gear habang naka apak parin sa clutch. Very faint yung jerk nya halos hindi noticeable and hindi lagi nangyayari.

Tinanong ko sa casa and sabi nung SA parehong normal yung dalawang nirereklamo ko. Yung issue 1 nakikita ko lang to sa mga lumang kotse na hindi na maganda yung seal ng aircon sa loob kaya tumatagas sa ibang vents. Yung issue 2 ngayon ko lang talaga na encounter. Sabi ng SA dahil daw sa lakas ng torque ng Accent. Pero bakit hindi naman nag gaganun yung ibang kotseng mas malakas pa sa Accent?

Meron ba mga naka experience nito sa mga brand new Accents nila? TIA

Hi guys, new owner of Accent here, ask ko lang what type/brand of diesel do you use on your accent? Would the cheaper type like petron diesel max or shell fuel save diesel do? Or mas preferred yung mas mahal like the petron turbo diesel or shell nitro + diesel?

May difference ba in terms of fuel consumption, performance and emissions kung cheaper fuel vs yung mas mahal?

depende sir kung ano definition mo ng maganda: if you like more hatak go with nitro if fuel save naman sobrang tipid neto, if you check my post here sa 1 bar nakaka 100km ako bago bumaba.

Anyway meron ba dito naka k&n na air filter? May benefits ba? And anong size bibilin ko kung sakali

may mga gas stations na ganun di lang sa shell. try mo rin Caltex diesel, dun ka pakarga sa mga malalaking stations at sa gabi ka magpakarga..
naka K&N filter ako mas maganda response compare sa paper filter. maalikabok sa area namin kaya naisipan kong bumili neto. kung paper filter lang madalas nadumi kaagad nahina hatak.

Try mo sir yun small or medium lang. he he. Joke lang po.

pag bumili ka ng K&N, usually isang size lang yan, model-specific ang sizing. you need to know what year and model ng car mo. even then, minsan may sablay katulad na lang nung unang labas ng K&N filter for the Navara. sukat sya for the Spain-made na air filter ng navara but was bigger than the one made in thailand which was the model na lumabas dito sa atin. Just go to a reputable LOCAL K&N supplier at alam na nila yan para sa accent.

The problem with K&N and high performance filters is that they let dirt through the engine. I would recommend replacing the air filter more often.

Same with me. I replace filters more often than the prescribed intervals. Mura lang din naman ang filters especially if you buy outside of the dealership, like Goodgear for example.

Hindi kasi siya 100% saturated ng oil. Pag 100% saturated siya, sinok naman aabutin ng engine.

Yes sir. The dirt has to go somewhere. If it is not stopped at the filter, it will find its merry way into your engine. Pag sobra naman ang oil, it can foul up your MAF sensor. Just use OEM and change it more often.
