Kakatapos lang din ng north trip ko with my AT hb.. Manila, Vigan, Pagudpud, Baguio and back to manila.. Best FC i got was about 16km/L.. 6.2 on my trip com.. Avg speed was between 80 - 110 kph.. Naconfirm ko yung nabasa ko dito na kaya 700km in one full tank.. speedwise and pick-up wala kong masabi, hindi ako binitin ng hb ko.. May naka karerahan akong bnew ford ranger (kulay silver) on the way sa pagudpud, in fairness lakas humatak nung ranger, pero nung piniga ko throttle and the turbo kicked in,, need i say more? I know you guys know what im talking about.. Hehe.. Went past him at di na nya ko nahabol.. ;) suspension was decent though di ko naman na stress test dahil dalawa lng kami ng wife ko bumyahe.. yun lang po..

Sa proud owners na ng accent hb, congratz mga sirs! Sa mga nag paplano palang bumili, wag ma mag dalawang isip, this will be one of the best decisions you'll ever make! unit ko 2013 TOTL AT.. Good day mga sirs!

Naka acquire ako ng original 2014 projector headlights.. 2013 unit ko.. Compatible ba sila sir? May naka gawa na ba nito?
Advisable ba kung sakali kailangan mag rewire, meaning ma vovoid electrical waranty ko.. (Ang pogi kasi nung projector lights eh..) hehe.. Thnks tsikoters!

Sir valskie may idea po ba magkano nya nakuha yung OEM projector lights nya? TY sir.. Yung integrated head unit sir plug and play lang sa 2013 yun tama po ba o may rewiring parin po?

its not plug and play. kailangang ng rewiring. its sir paolo yung nagpalagay ng oem projector headlight. nasa page 186 of this thread yung post niya regarding oem projector.

Do any of you experience smoky exhaust from your hatch? My hatch went through its 15k PMS last week & I noticed smoky exhaust 2 days later while warming up the car. Not excessive, but visible. I noticed also that the exhaust does not smell the usual sour smell like it was brand new. Just this evening going home, I think the smoke is more excessive than usual. I usually use Unioil diesel. Is this normal & what may be the cause?

Unioil din gamit ko sir bloo.. So far i still smell that distinct aroma sa exaust.. Amoy na amoy sa garahe ko.. Bat kaya gnun amoy nun? Haha

Brought complaint to Casa. Nilinis exhaust system, including catalytic converter & EGR & cleaned fuel tank. Apparently, there was water in fuel. Siguro pinasok ng tubig yung tanke sa gas station. Hay Baku, kung mamalasin ka talaga.

If there's no significant difference sa fuel consumption e kung ibbase po natin sa maintenance and yung SRP when I buy it, after let's say 6 years san ako makakatipid all in all, sa Accent HB or Mirage G4 GLS? Manual tranny ang bibilin ko sir.

First choice ko talaga is Ford Focus pero nung nalaman ko yung mga issues iniwasan ko na since ayaw ko naman sumakit ulo ko. Sa Accent ang issue ko naman is yung sa PMS. Been reading a lot of negative feedbacks regarding sa PMS nila. I talked to two SA na ng Hyundai and sabi nung isa is as long as hindi ka bubutas ng isang PMs hindi naman mawawala yung warranty. Yung isa sabi sa akin hindi naman daw sila strict. Nagreremind lang sila and then he told me na ang kailangan talaga is yung 1k PMs which I found absurd. Ang alam ko kasi sa Diesel usually sa una every 5k kms yan.

I'll be buying it this month or January 1st week. I hope I can decide on which will be better sa needs ko. I like the G4 because of its features kasama na yung legroom sa rear and I heard na fuel efficient nga din siya and I think mas reliable ang Mistu. Sa Accent naman gusto ko siya dahil Diesel siya at if ever I'll be travelling sa south or further north feeling ko mas makakatipid ako and gusto ko din yung itsura ng exterior ng Accent. Interior wise kay G4 ako. Problema kko lang sa Accent is yung maintenance which is I think costly.

I hope I canhear more inputs from other tsikoters. Maraming salamat po.

P.S. Does anyone know here kung magkano magagastos ko sa back and forth FC from SM Baliwag to Trinoma and kung ilan kms yun. Can't find a reliable source sa internet e. Thank you.

Assuming:
1. At least 100k difference between SRP of G4 and Accent
2. At least 10,000km yearly usage.
3. Both can average 15km/liter.

10,000km/15kpl = 666.67 liters per year

For Accent (P42 per liter diesel)
666.67 x P42 = P28,000 per year

For G4:
666.67 x P50 = P33,300 per year

For preventive maintenance: Assume mas mahal PM ng Accent by 2000.

All in all, halos P3,000 lang difference nila for fuel and maintenance expenses.

So: 100,000/3,000 = 33 years bago mo mabawi yung 100k difference, IF you're only looking for fuel economy.

However, the smile that it will bring you kapag inoovertakan mo yung mga Montero/Fortuner/Ranger sa daan is priceless :D

With regards to 1st 1000 PMS ng Accent, yung kasi nakalagay sa manual & every 5k thereafter. Ang diesel kasi talagang dumihin langis kasi diesel oil burner, DBA? Every 5k PMS costs less than P6000 pagka fully synthetic finality. May free 2 lits synthetic oil voucher for the next oil change. Magkano ba PMS ng G4?

After that incident of smoky fumes, Sinagad ko na ma ubos yung unioil diesel & nagpa fulltank Ako ng Shell fuel save, as recommended by the SA. I also added HFT fuel system cleaner of Hyundai. The smoky fumes gradually lessened & now just obvious during cold start ups. Hopefully walang nasira.

Sir yebo, Sucat road, Parañaque. Naalala ko kasi na baka binaha yung Lugar, o Kaya nag sasalin ng ewan na crudo. Napansin ko kasi yung crudo ng Unioil mabula.
