There's something curiously wrong with the Boxter's time. 6.59 sec? With a little abuse, even my lowly 06 Sonata can achieve that.

Also, that has to be the V8 Genesis doing 5.69 sec.

the one i sat on was a v6 fully loaded since i recalled that the the dealership is still waiting for the v8's to arrive. it was i think with a markup so the total on the tag was in the 39K range.

Gee. I didn't think Hyundai dealers would do that. Is the demand really that great? If it is, then that would be a first for Hyundai.

Just wondering why you're looking for a used Tibbie. Planning to tune one? I see a lot of tuned Tibbies here although I still have reservations about the M/T's clutch.

    Add:

Markup........ Even I can't imagine a waiting list for Hyundai cars.

Tibby clutches? Can't be as bad as the relatively fragile AT...

I'd go for a 2.7 V6 MT if you ain't doing tuning... just for the sound... but if you're going to tune it, the 2.0 MT would be a much better choice... easier to turbo...

Mhmmm... V6 2.7 MT if you're keeping the car stock... 2.0 MT if you're going to add a snail...

Correct. The Genesis used in the road test is the Tau V8 4.6Li one which has a spec of 6 speed with Shiftronic with 375 HP * 6500 rpm

The boxter used was a ZF 5 speed with Tiptronic with 245 HP * 6500 rpm.

However having said that the Lambda V6 3.8 is capable of 306 HP by Korean built standards, but US measurement standards place it at 290 HP * 6200 rpm

    The 3.3 Li V6 has 264 HP.

    The BMW 750i used was a 360 HP * 6300 rpm, 6 speed steptronic.

That's because US gas quality isn't up to European standards, I guess... it's supposed to be 306 on premium.

But that's such a small difference, I doubt owners will notice. I didn't particularly mind, either way, when we drove it.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
