The standard testing for this particular oil is only up to 6888kms, so yung 7500km sobra na. Kahit pa FS yan, though ang naka lagay sa FS exceeds standards SM pero walang exact value. Its not actually the base oil PAO ang nasisira since stable ang synthetic base oil, yung additives ang nauubos.

Based sa 6888km na standard testing deteriorated na ang oil, kaya 5k change oil na for safety factor!

I adviced na i-check din visually & the traditional way na pinapakiramdaman yung viscosity nung langis.
Pwede kasing magdeteriorate yung langis na mas maaga pa sa 5k or less than 3mos lalo na yung mga city driven na car.

Stock sa traffic ng 2-3Hrs tpos tumakbo lang 100km or less, by computation & comparison sa normal flow na tumatakbo ng 40kph(ave.), around 3k pa lang dapat change oil na!

This is also the way I handle the change oil, langing less than the required PMS interval!

mga bossing, kung bound sa warranty ang hyundai vehicle mo then you have no choice but to follow PMS program of Hyundai or else hindi ma grant ung warranty claim mo in case something happens to your vehicle. Pag hindi na under warranty, then you might opt to check out this thread regarding oil: http://tsikot.com/forums/engine-fuel.../index279.html FYI and HTH.

yeah and just like what i stated earlier my PMS for my Lancer is every 15k kms too or 1 year as stated in my warranty/service booklet.

My standard car warranty is 3 yrs (this is the transferable), then they will upgrade it to 5 years upon satisfactory check on end of 3rd year then 10 yrs on drive train standard. Also as stated in the booklet any mitsi dealership will entertain warranty claims not just where you bought the unit originally.

yeah however it might not be sanctioned by Hyudai dealership and could void your 5yr warranty as they say hence it appears the 5yr warranty they offer is more a way for them to get more money from car owners since you need to see them every 3 months which is very inconvenient, i mean i can probably withstand every 6months going to casa but heck not every 3 months... what if if you got 3 Hyudai cars therefore you need to go there every month as least, kung free home service ok lang kahit every week haha :D

Mas matino ang Autohub Group, Citimotors (E. Rod, Manila Bay, Dasma) at Hyundai Alabang Inc. (including Las Pinas).

Laus Group is Hyundai Balintawak and Hyundai Dagupan, which I've never of any horror stories yet.

Autohub group, Hyundai Global City and Hyundai Greenhills, sa Hyundai Global City maraming horror story.

Wheels group is Hyundai E. Rodriguez, Manila Bay and their affiliates Dasmariñas and Abad Santos, Dasma lang ang matinong casa sa grupo na yun.

Sunny Motor Group are Hyundai Quezon Avenue, Commonwealth, Cabanatuan, and Isabela, Commonwealth lang ang sablay na casa grupo na yun.

Hyundai Alabang Inc along with Las Piñas is matinong-matino
