Totally agree. We have a starex 2009 model and less than 1 year later the vehicle caught fire while at star tollway. The warranty claim was denied due to late Pms. What is the relatiionship between a delayed Pms and vehicle catching fire? Sued them and they eventually settled.

Hindi lang siguro dahil sa gustong magkapera ng HARI but could also be na ayaw nilang lumabas lahat ang sira in 5 years that could damage the long time reliability of their product.

Kaya ako I always follow the 3months PMS of HARI just to be sure, kahit masakit sa bulsa. Tutal pamilya ko naman ang gumagamit.

si HARI believes on this. other car brands naman yata every 6 months

For common customer the 5yrs warranty is very attractive BUT after you purchase the unit dun mo malalaman at makikita na magkaiba pala yun warranty. my experience with my other cars warranty is bumper to bumper.

VIP pa kse kami kse one of the pioneer buyers kami dyan

Pero ngaun pansin ko nga mukang pera na yan Casa last time pa-service ako. Kaya not interested anymore to buy a 3rd gen Sta Fe.

and also, if you want living proof of durability ng Hyundai, ako na yun.

The Korean hype is over for me or for us. basta para sa kin Korean cars are good backup cars pang relyebo.. Pero Kung Isa Lang Tsikot mo, better get the durable Jap.

Sir, you had mentioned minor issues on your Korean Cars, Batteries/ Actuators/ Bulbs etc., How about Major Concerns especially on the Engine have you experienced any??

This is because I also have two Korean Cars a Santa Fe and a Sorento.

In my experience with korean cars, i had four of them past couple of years, including 3 presently owned, one common denominator is the weak Underchassis. As far as engine is concerned no problems so far. Its a good thing though as i had a really tough year last year with my 2011 accent with knocking/low power issues and minor glitches like the faulty stock alarm. Thankfully all were fixed but only after i put my foot down on those greedy casas.

What if the Hyundai Motor Corp makes a Philippine subsidiary and takes over the distributorship of Hyundai vehicles from HARI, do you think that present and future owners of Hyundai vehicles will have better customer experience?

I believe that HARI is the problem here. The CASAs are just following the rules set by HARI like insisting the use of HGMO oil otherwise the warranty is void or the ridiculous 5k kms or 3 mos whichever comes first PMS schedule or the warranty is void. Also in the OVER-PRICING of OEM parts by CASAs is mainly due to HARI's over pricing. If only the Authorized Distributors are directly linked with Hyundai Korea and not go thru HARI, then the pricing plus the service will definitely be acceptable to owners. HARI is living up to its reputation among hyundai owners as the HARI ng SABLAY!

My 2010 Santa Fe will be my last Hyundai vehicle I will own. Back to JAPS ako when the time comes I will buy another vehicle.

The souped up 2.5 VNT Intercooler Turbo Fortuner with touch screen DVD GPS HU, leather seats is worth looking at now.

Pwede ilagay eh , Your car is so great but your SERVICE is shameful.
