FYI.

As to others like "Broken Antenna" due to car covers, with all sense of fairness, di na siguro sa Hyundai ang problema.

Hehehehe, before I got my unit, I always expected that somewhere along the way, I would have little problems with my unit. Whether its a jap car or korean (I current owned a Honda City 3rd Gen, an i10 & accent 1.4AT).

Well if it's a BMW in which I paid 7 to 8 Digit Figure, then I will be storming my dealer. But sometimes these units certainly would have certain issues as well...

Tulad nung last gen Accent.

Thanks brother, ambait mo pala. Anyway I won't repeat kung anuman tawag mo dun sa male part for political correctness, hehe. I'm thinking it might not be so much a Hyundai parts issue but if you'd notice talagang napakadaling masira or prone to breakage antenna ng Accent. I wish the design was more durable and could've taken into account na maybe users are going to be using car cover to protect (finish on this) car. Putting antenna hole on my car cover is not an option, at least for me dahil it creates other possible issues like moisture/dirt/dust seeping into the hole.
The problem with mine is yung sa pinaka base mismo, yung roskas na plasticky part broke..I still have the 10inch long titi but unable to screw. gusto ko nga na bilhan na lang ng fin type available sa DIY pero napaka-tacky naman tingnan. Parang yung sa BMW but looks much much cheaper. I happen to listen to FM radio a lot kaya kakainis talaga.

Kaso after a few minutes biglang nawawala na reception. ganyan ba talaga yan? Ang sagwa kasi nung antenna

Best thing to do is replace the antenna. Cute sya at matibay.

They'll try to sell it in a fashion that the accessories are OEM, wherein fact the parts are actually outsourced and the only thing legit done is the fact that it's dealership-installed.

You can try to claim the original and replaced parts, but IMO wishful thinking na lang na ibibigay nila. The fact pa lang na may AUX-IN na yung HU makes it marketable outside. Just my .02.
Got your point sir.

Problem: it just occurred last week. I can hear a noise once I change gear or when I'm on a low gear 1st and 2nd gear... when I stepped on the gas pedal and release it or from reverse to 1st gear. I think it's the velocity joint making the sound (not sure though) but it's an annoying sound especially on a brand new car and it's just a month and 8 days old. What is the best thing to do with this mga bro?

    Fuel consumption:
MOA to Tagaytay with slight traffic at Bacoor 9.65 liters / 91.3 kms = 9.461kms/L at speed of 70-90kph. So far ung batak nya superb parin lakas ng hatak with the shell V-power.
Just an update to my accent problem:

I pay a visit to my dealer sa Hyundai Las Pinas yesterday to let them check the problem and with the help of my SA (miss Mai) OK na po sya.. hinigpitan lang ung velocity joint, and nawala ung knocking sound...

    goodluck.

pero kung sino man me gusto ng antenna, yung pinaktiti nya, just let me know, ipa-airmail ko sa inyo....
