2011 Hyundai Accent issues, problems in general

Bumalik nanaman clickin sound o knocking sound sa joint ng accent ko. pangalawa beses ko na ibinalik to noong last time, ganun ulit pag ka higpit nya sa joint nwala yung sound tapos after 4-5days makakarinig ka ng knocking na mahina, tapos ngayon bumalik nanaman sa dati yung knocking sound. Ganun din ung unang balik namen sa 1kPMS nwala din un sound after 4-5days bumalik ulit.
3months na ung accent namen 3k PMS na sabi ng father ko gagawa daw sya letter requesting for replacement. what do you think guys? ma rereplace pa ba for a new unit ang accent ko? cinash naman un accent fully paid na.

Buti yung akin Sir, hindi na bumalik yung "ticking sound from the joint" almost 2months nang ginagamit, very annoying pana man ang sound na yan. If you feel that its defective then push through with your plans Sir lalo na kung pabalik balik na pala kayo for this complaint...

Medyo di maganda ang stock wiper blades ng accent. Check if my punit naba yong blade. Or baka marumi lang... Problema rin sa wiper ng accent, you have that "kruuugggggggggggggg" sound, when it is in use for a longer period... I don't know if its because of the rubber compound of the stock one. Pero at least yong sa akin, na banana type (NWB), medyo ok naman...

If you want a good one, try using NWB Banana type wiper blades. 650mm on the drivers side, 400mm on the passenger side.

I think 1.4k for the driver's side, 800php for the passenger...

Mga sir, panget ang punas ng wiper ko sa passenger side meron natitira. Yung sa driver side na wiper malinis naman. Ano kaya problem?

Ganito din yung wiper ng akin, di maganda yung punas ng wiper sa windshield, kailangan palitan IMO.

Di talaga maganda OEM wipers ng Hyundai. Nag-judder sya sa windshield.

Pero weird dun sa Santa Fe namin swabe ang hagod.

Yan din napansin ko, pag umuulan parang may grado yung windshield.
While idling in traffic a while ago, bumabagsak bagsak yung idle speed ko. Parang mamamatay yung makina. First time nangyari ito. Wonder what could have caused this.

bumili ako ng mitutoyo s920 banana type sa katsikot, panget pa rn punas e. Advise nya, ipa-rub ko dw yung windshield. Ipapolish ko muna sa bigberts. Cge, kapag panget p rn punas i-try ko yung banana type ng nwb.

just an opinion sir, but I'd rather stay away from buffing or polishing my windshield... I did try it once on my old car, and the result was very disappointing. the windshield got a very visible swirl marks. I don't know if there is something wrong with the polishing process of the detailing shop that I went to.

Yong nabili ko, aabot yata ng 2.3K. NWB Aero type din. Yong 650mm (Driver's Side) is around 1.4k, and the 400mm (passenger side) is around 800+php.

Got mine at True Value, Ayala Cebu...

I tried switching to petron xcs after numerous fillups with petron unleaded, sadly meron parin knocking sound. Nag fillup kasi ako na meron pang 2 bars remaining, baka siguro ang nasisipsip pa niya yung unleaded fuel?

bro na try mo na ba sa caltex? yung gold nila yun na kasi kinakarga ko ngaun. wala naman akong naririning na engine knocking sounds malapit na mag 2000 yung tinatakbo ko. ganda na din FC ko * 12-15 KM per liter

Ako naman puro shell unleaded lang, kung wala its Caltex Gold naman. I am nearing my 2600km in my odo.
Try other gas locations also just to compare.

Subukan ko muna sa xcs mga 2 fulltanks just to be sure. Tied up ako sa particular petron station na yun kasi naka P.O. Company ko dun. And sayang din 3% rebate sa bpi card hehe. My current and previous cars dun din ako nagpapa gas and never naman ako nagka problem sa engine knock, even though unleaded lang pinakakarga ko, itong accent ko lang bukod tangi na tumotope. 900 palang odometer ko, irereklamo ko na nga sa dealer on my 1k pms. 3 months na sa akin yung accent pero hanggang ngayon wala parin ako sa 1k odo.

Sabi nung taga Hyundai eh nag reset "daw" sila ng ecu and advised owner to use higher octane gas. na solve naman daw. since naka higher octane ka na, baka kailangan mo na ng ecu reset? just a suggestion lang bro.

Hindi ata talagang "issue" yung bottom out sa suspension. It's a trade-off for getting a softer ride (rare find in it's class). My honda civic 2007 had defective tensioner after 1 year.

Sounds contrary to what my local Casa said today. Took the car in yday for it's 5k PMS and I elaborated the knock issue. After resetting said EMS/ECU they stated the knock's still there. They now plan to drain the "Shell Premium" gas I currently use and want to source gasoline from the city and re-fill with that and if noise goes away, they advise I go back to using "Shell Super Unleaded" ONLY. Other than that, I now manually lock each door before I step out being careful to lock the drivers side last or else I'm back to square one. Hope I don't have some crazy panic mode as there is no way I would be able to lock all doors that fast. I am also afraid to use my remote alarm since not only does it intermittently work, the moment I step away from the car the darn thing would go off. I do not know what causes it and I was told they would tone down the sensitivity. Will find out soon enough.

Pati ba naman fuel cap pinuntirya? Afaik almost all modern cars plastic na ang fuel cap. Ang huling natatandaan ko na metal cap is yung sa 92 lancer namin way way back. I never had a bmw or benz so i wouldn't know kung metal ang fuel cap nila.
