    when i made this entry i thought i was responding to the topic of the thread which ask for members to talk about general issues and problems of accent 2011.... and so i did.

    -the clock for me is a big issue, because im used to check the time by looking at the dashboard and calculate my ETA. i guess a hard habbit to break.
    -the plastic material im talking about is the main fuel access cover itself and not the fuel cap. most fuel caps today i know are made of plastic but the main access cover seems to be made of plastic or weak material. i have this feeling that if i leave some careless gas boy to open the cover all the way that it will break easily.

    well these are issues i have with my accent (my intentions are clear and good) and does not mean it should be yours too. if you guys feel i'm making these things up then you can ask the mods to delete all my post since i cant remove them myself, not at this user level atleast.

    For me the soft suspension is really bothersome. Kaya when i have more than 2 passengers hindi ko na siya ginagamit. Wala naman problem sa ride, ok nga ako dun sa lambot ng ride niya. Problem ko lang is when negotiating humps, at speeds more than 10kph sigurado tatama bump stops pag rebound ng rear suspension, kahit pa ang sakay ko at the back yung 2 yr old daughter ko and payat na yaya na wala pang 100lbs. Parang feeling mo nalaglag yung car sa napakalaking pothole at tumama yung chassis. Kaya alangan din ako palitan ng bigger rims, siguradong kawawa yung rims sa likod kakasabit sa fender.
    Surprisingly, medyo nabawasan issues ko sa accent. After a few days of driving with petron xcs, halos hindi ko na marinig yung engine knock, nawala narin yung biglang jerk ng transmission. Natakot yata kasi malapit na 1k pms ko. Buti narin yun para ang irereklamo ko nalang yung soft suspension

    Ayos na yung wipers ko after replacing mine with other s920 stocks from sir xenon optics of tsikot. Cheaper than nwb banana wipers but almost same looks but lets see if the performance wil last long. Soft suspension din napansin ko sa accent ko when i had four passengers once, tumama yung ilalim ko sa humps. But it does not bother me much since dalawa lang naman kami madalas sa car. Did not experienced the knocking issue, i always use caltex gold. My fc is improving, now 11-13km/l at moderate to heavy manila traffic. Did not thought of the clock as an issue either. Overall, im satisfied.

    mga ka accent ask ko lang. kapag nakabukas yung pinto nyo nang matagal yung ilaw ba sa dashboard nyo na color red nag bliblink sya kapag matagal na nakabukas yung pinto? tapos mawawala saglit then blink nanaman ganon kase yung saken. notice ko lang kanina kase naglinis ako nang sasakyan matagal nakabukas yung pinto ko

    Sorry to ponder more on black_ice' posts. It's not being insecure, more of sour graping. I know the feeling... mahirap kapag nakabili na na hindi ka naman fully decided na iyon na nga ang gusto mo. Everytime nakikita mo or naiisip iyong dapat na binili mo, you have to justify to yourself pa kung bakit hindi iyon ang binili mo.

    For those cases, there's always the option to sell and although expensive, buy again. Mas madali kapag hindi mo iniisip ang mga ganyang bagay eh. Just my .02.

    I can relate to that, just 2 months since acquiring my accent, i wanted to sell na and buy the tucson,fickle minded kasi ako and nung naglabasan mga issues i was about ready to give up. Pero buti narin hindi ko natuloy ibenta. Laki ng losses ko for sure. Kaya nga now talagang pinag iisipan ko na mabuti yung susunod na purchase ko para wala ng sisihan.

    Kahit ganun kaganda ang Tucson ko may regrets parin ako kahit papano, mas gusto ko talaga Sonata. Ehe he he he...

    Medyo magulo lang yung statement pero from what i understood yung binili niyo is the 1.6 blue and ang dineliver is the 1.4a/t?

    Update: Came from Hyundai Balintawak this morning, and we're asking for a unit replacement.

    Hyundai daw will not replace any sold vehicle miski na may lumabas na knocking sound sa engine at its 10th day.

    I've video recorded all the conversation thru my phone. Will upload the video to Youtube tomorrow. Will never replace daw eh paano na yung tinatawag nating "no return, no exchange" policy.

    Mas maganda pa ang service ng cellphone kse sa cellphone may 7 day replacement period. Itong mga Hyundai miski 700k worth di gusto magpa replace eh ano pa silbi ng break-in period na 1k kilometers eh 10 days pa nag lang ang unit and at my 600 kilometer palang may topak na.

    Di naman kasi lahat ng Hyundai. Baket kami 3 ang Hyundai wala naman nagiging problema.. Pati Kia meron din kami.

    Make a formal letter of complaint to your dealership and HARI.

    Pag walang nangyari tsaka ka tumakbo kay Tulfo.

    Lalong magugulo ang sitwasyon kung diretso ka agad kay Tulfo, iskandalo yan.

    Sumulat na po kme sa HARI, at sa dealership at ayaw nila talaga ng replacement. Kaya nga kme tumakbo na kay Tulfo.


    Kesyo nasa manual daw ng warranty. Ang case na binabalandra ko sa kanila ay yung 10th day palang may engine knocking na kaya ako nagpapareplace ng unit, eh kesyo di daw talaga sila nagpapalit ng buong unit. So, maybe it's time to put it in another level.

    Makikita nyo naman sa video bukas and you guys judge for yourselves. Maririnig nyo lahat ng issues dun.



    Swerte mo sir Starex_Gold kse walang problema units nyo po and I'm very happy for you sir. Pero malas namin na may problema and unit namin. Kung tutuusin naman eh okay sila kausap nung bilihan na eh jun nag lang sa Service palpak. Dito mo na makikilala ang Hyundai talaga pag minalas ka sa unit mo. Mine has a major issue and so many other Accent 2011 buyers (na mababasa natin sa mga forums). Hanggang forums nalang ba? I've done all the formal complaints at pabalikbalik narin sa Balintawak at Global City Casas at di ako nagreklamo about gas consumption sa kakabalik sa Casa ngayon lang kse pagod na ako.


    Iskandalo na kung iskandalo para din ma-warningan ang mga prospect buyers sa Hyundai Brand na ito, I'm very sure sir na di ka rin aware sa estilo nilang ganito.


    At this point nag parang gusto ko na ng 100% refund and maybe get a Honda. They may have a 3year warranty as compared to Hyundai with a 5year warranty pero maayos kausap. I decided to buy a brand new one para walang sakit sa ulo but this is the Hyundai Service that I get.

    I am aware. Lahat ng local dealers dito sa Pinas pahirapan mag-claim ng warranty. Lalo na kapag replacement ang hinihingi mo.

    Hyundai palang yan, ano pa Toyota. Kung di na maganda ang aftersales ng Hyundai para sa'yo, ano pa ang Suzuki. Mabuti nalang din hindi sirain ang Celerio kaya worry free kami.

    Sir bratski,

    di po originally po 1.4at po talaga yung nabili namin kaya lang di namin alam kung may connection o hidden agreement yung taong nag ayus ng papers namin at dun kukunin yung mga kuminsyon nila... bale po ang naka lagay sa mga documents na isusubmit nila sa PSBank ay yung computation ng pang 1.6 pero po yung ibibigay nila eh 1.4at, tapos sabi daw po nung manager pag tumawag daw yung bank sa amin sabihin namin na 1.6 accent daw yung nasamin..bale pati din pina issue saming cheke sa PSBank naka lagay dun 16,400 bale yun ang M.A namin buti nalang po sir may naging problema yung PSBank sa kanila kaya hanggang ngayon di pa kami nag babayad ng amortization , recieved a call from the dealer that we need to submit a new requirements , COE, Bank statement at Billing Statement and kailangan din daw po na mag sign kami para sa bagong loan application ( for Bank / Car Loan )..and this afternoon went to our family lawyer para mang hingi ng advise .

    Hanggat wala pa ung Lemon Law wala talagang mangyayari..... Ano ba status ng law na ito?.

    Well i for one would agree with sir mexophilia, if all possible means are exhausted, media is the last resort. I personally believe na walang mangyayari pag nag complain sa dti. With all the red tape and bureaucracy of our government agencies, its a miracle na kung may mangyayari pa sa complaint mo.
