Passed by Hyundai EDSA this morning and saw the Grand Starex Platinum. Nice grill, bumper and rims. Ah yeah, HARI unit nga kung Central Edsa. Pero what I was meaning to ask if the spec was similar to that of the Gray Market Semi-Limo.

Saan kaya pwede pa higpitan mga nuts/screws ng upuan? Medyo maingay sa akin pag nalulubak. Pakiramdam ko medyo maluwag ang mga upuan kasi pag puno at may sakay wala nman ingay.

Just got another GS again, although this one is not for the family but as a service vehicle in the office, its a 2011 TCI M/T 10 seater. Got this to replace our aging local unit Mitsubishi Space Gear, ang hirap kasi humanap ng parts for the Space Gear and it has come to a point where things start breaking down and some parts are simply unobtainable.

Since we got the GS last Tuesday, its still in our motorpool as we are doing preventive maintenance for it before its pressed into service, here are the things that is being done:

- change oil/ oil filter, fuel filter and air filter
- change timing belt and tensioner including oil seals( although the mileage is around 40k, we decided it best to just change it since we don't know how its was treated by the previous owner)
- change clutch, pressure plate, release bearing and pilot bearing
- change brake pads (front) and brake shoe (rear)
- blanked the EGR
- drain/flush radiator

And since gagamitin ko din eto from time to time, I will add some personal touches:

- paint the lower part of the bumpers, door handles anf plate light garnish para di naman mukhang bare.
- install fog lamps ( buti na lang pinalagyan na ng PO ng rear spoiler at under mirror)
- replace tint
- install alarm and power lock
- leatherette seat covers and rubber mattings
- At higit sa lahat, pinatanggal ko yung isang feature na di ko ma take sa mga HARI GS, tinanggal ko yung antenna at pinatakpan yung butas sa bubong!

Yes, it looks like the limo version I see in Korean and Thai websites. The SA told me that they don't advertise it yet coz there are only a few
Units that arrived. The one I saw is already displayed in the showroom.

Hehehe! To each his own. I like the rubber ducky antenna actually. Kinda gives me some sort of peace of mind when entering shorter parking lots.

Also, ako lang ba or are the AM frequencies of hyundais crappy? Yung gen 3 namin at etong GS di makasagap ng AM...

^^^ Although hindi pa ako nakapag-open ng new model hu afaik yung am antenna nasa loob ng hu yun di ba, it is a ferite bar with a coil at one end. Yung fm antenna yun ang nasa labas na rubber ducky.

Not sure bro, pero yung Gen 3 namin dati ok naman AM reception, yung mga KDM GS namin wala din problema

There are many factors affecting resale value, one example is the mileage. Is your GS a CRDI VGT or TCI?

Mga boss tanong lang po kung may nakakaalam.
Sino may nakaaalam kung may nagbebenta ng dashboard tray (tama ba yung tawag dun?)? Gusto ko kasing alisin yung gps na nasa dashboard kaso pagtinaggal yun e butas sya. Pwede ring malaman kung anong tawag dun sa thingy na yun.

Yung KDM na GS kinda crappy rin ang AM channels. Kahit glass printed antenna.

Iniisip ko yung Local HARI unit na GS pag kinabitan ng Shark antenna ang sagwa pa rin tignan.
