sir, quick Qs..im planning to bring my GE sa speedlab din..they said i need to order the intake system and headers first(3-4weeks), ang available pa lang daw ay yung unichip. na-try nyo po ba itanong sa speedlab yung headers nila? saan po ba yung SMT? it's 50% cheaper po kasi so im considering dun na ako kukuha sakanila then intake system(k&n- unless meron po kayo ibang ma recommend thats either better or cheaper or both) and chip sa speedlab.
another thing, you mentioned you leaned towards torque than power. honestly i dont know the difference.can you please enlighten me sir?tyia

Yes, I made sure that my GE was already fitted with a new intake and headers before going to Speedlab.
It took them just half a day to fabricate and install. I don't have the address with me right now so you can just google it. Hanapin mo si Charles Sison, madali siyang kausap.
In my opinion, you need to invest in a good intake system just like the HKS intake of gian227243. But I think DZ also sells reputable and more affordable intake systems such as Last Station and Simota. Please call DZ Racing for pricing.
I prefer torque that is available at low to mid-range RPMs for faster acceleration from a standing position. Greater horsepower at high RPMs is virtually useless for daily city driving.
Cheers.
white boss. white yung akin eh...hehehe (bias).. pero imho, lahat naman ng kulay ok naman. but if you want alabaster silver, sorry to say 1.3 lang yun. and silverstone met. is only for 1.5 variant... actually pinili ko white kasi ayaw ko nang paulit-ulit ng color sa auto. had black and red colored cars past few years. Kaya white naman this year.
share ko lang. hehehe
I never had a white car. they seem hard to keep clean kasi. Konting putik lang ang dumi na kagad. However, with that said white/black cars are really easy/nice to dress up. Ang linis pa tignan. Pic naman nang auto mo bossing kideex!
Btw, I got the blue one.. Someone in the thread said it's the "mascot" hence it's common.. but what's interesting is.. I've only seen a handful of blue jazzes and the rest I've seen are either black or white.
try ko boss sa friday after ko pa-bigberts... as of now maduming madumi and no recent pic of my jazz. busy sa review eh. pero back read ka may pinost akong pic dati. pagtapos ng exam ko bukas..(1 day lang naman yun...) nabenta ko na din kasi isang auto ko. kaya hahataw sa mods...SANA..( kung kaya pa ng budget). hehehe.
maganda ba yung "ikey" dun sa list? gusto ko lang dun you can hide the metal (key). pero tinanong ko sa suki natin key duplicator, di daw makokopya yun keys natin.
infos guys.TIA

By my reckoning, it cost me closer to P40k for the chip, intake and headers and yes, I can feel the difference in performance and at a cost I can live with, thank you very much.
But I do agree with your line of thinking, i.e., plunk additional coin and go for the turbo upgrade. But for now I'd prefer to wait for Speedlab to fabricate and install turbo kits for other GEs before I go back to them.
Cheers.
