This is over pricing Tiba-tiba SA dito if this will be the dealer price The 1.3 M/T should be around 670k and yung 1.3 A/T ang 704K..

Or maybe Honda Phils. is anxious to meet market demand kaya nila ito ino-overprice..

now that's what i'm looking for...20km/L...though is that the claimed FC? usually kasi observed (test) FC is different from the claimed FC e...siguro mga 3km/L ang difference...but in case the observed FC falls at 17km/L...not bad at all...just the same FC as its predecessor...

one thing about the new jazz is that it has an on-dash monitor for your fuel consumption ;)

*Chad, mukhang kabisado mo na sobra ang features nung variants. Dami nga brochure sa mesa mo, akala ko nasa dealership ako.

Medyo overpriced na nga, with the 1.5 nearly hitting the 800k mark. Pero I'm sure it's good value naman. The 1.3AT would be at a disadvantage, with only a 50k difference from the 1.5.

If it really runs at 17-20 kpl, this is going to be another bestseller.

Medyo mahal pala sya. My friend just bought a new Altis 1.6L M/T for 754k only. Parang 1.3 Jazz A/T lang yung price...

But in fairness, saw the new Jazz and maganda sya. I'm guessing maybe not primary car for most families since medyo premium na compact sya, but an excellent 2nd car for people with good budget.

i notice the front bumper of the jazz 1.5 and 1.3 are not the same, the 1.5 bumper have provision for fog light s i think and on the specs its 20mm longer in the overall length.

P707K for a 1.3 M/T is indeed pricey.... It's even more expensive (by P53K) than our Jazz 1.3 CVT.... Kahit na 20Km/L pa ang claim ng Honda, I think we will not consider this car/variant in our next round of car purchase in a little over a year from now.... Although I should admit that we are mightily satisfied with our Jazz 1.3 CVT....

napansin ko lang, mas marami atang tumitingin sa honda jazz compared sa evo X. hehehehe.

about the on-dash monitor, if tama yung pagkaka-intindi ko sa brochure, dalawa yung pinapakita ng monitor at the same time. sa bottom part, it shows the current fuel consumption since the last reset (ex. 13.7 km/l). tapos sa upper part naman parang some sort of line graph:

    0-----20-----40

tapos real-time fuel consumption yung pinapakita sa line graph.

i had the chance to compare the jazz to the lancer EX. the jazz was more spacious and had more legroom compared to the lancer. even with the driver's seat of the jazz fully pushed back, i was able to comfortably sit behind the driver's seat (im 5'10").

btw, even before the launch of the jazz, mahaba na yung pila for the blue 1.3 matic. nagbayad na ako kanina ng reservation fee for the blue 1.5matic. once more people see how many things were added to the 1.5matic for only 50thousand, im sure maglilipatan mga yan.

i just noticed sa 15 Jazz blue na naka display sa motor show na ung tail lights are not LED and the head light parang simple bulb lang (sorry po, im not familiar sa mga term). Mas maganda pa yung sa lumang Jazz. Di kaya sinadyang ganoon lang para after a year may facelift version na ilabas?

I'm planning to get the 1.5 Jazz pero a little hesistant now when i saw the interior ng civic... ganda kc...pero again...the fc is another factor...

    hay naku... hirap mag decide...

pls keep the thread going so to help us all decide...

    Thanks

    nde naman bosing

siguro ang nagpamahal sa bagong jazz eh yung dual srs, abs, ebd which are standard across all variants plus the new engine (iVTEC). imagine yung altis na 1.6 eh 109hp sya samantalang tong jazz 1.5 eh 120hp na. and me difference din yung paddleshifters na drive-by-wire technology na daw(parang eroplano no hehe)

toyota engine are always weak...in paper pansinin nyo yan...compare nyu by paper.

pero pintas ko sa new jazz--- iVTEC na nga, why OMIT the CVT! mas matipid kung ni-retain ang CVT than the conventional 5-AT, does that mean most owners ng CVT di alam na CVT yun and treat it as conventional, AT????

for me ha parang mas best buy pa mga old jazz kasi kahit 1.5 vtec, CVT naman....

Napansin ko lang while I was taking a few pics of the Jazz's interior...styrofoam holding up the steering column...

I saw the new Jazz/Fit while in China last week. It looks a lot nicer than the previous Jazz. Took these pics of a parked dressed-up Fit last Saturday noon.

If I'm not mistaken, that styrofoam is covering the lever for the tilt and telescoping adjustment of the steering wheel. I think Honda's people just forgot to remove it.
