April 16th, 2011 10:17 PM #521Honda City Type Z 2000 lxi 1.3
Mixed Highway and City: 10km/l
Heavy traffic (kagabi from marcos highway to c5 tapos exit sa east service road to sucat): 8km/l (nakakabaliw magdrive ng ganto)
I use shell superunleaded.. napansin ko parang mabilis maubos pag caltex or unioil... di ko alam if it really matters..

April 17th, 2011 03:07 PM #522Kapag ganyan ang magiging average mo after 5,000kms, ay better than normal ang FC mo.
Kaso, ganyan talaga ang nagiging reading after a reset, lalo na sa kaso mo na laging highway driving at bihira ka maipit sa traffic. An average FC of 15km/l is acceptable after 5,000kms (given yung normal route mo).

Hi Peeps,
New po ako sa forum na ito, just got my ride a 2009 Honda City 1.3S A/T Alabaster silver. It has 17k kms on the ODO and so far I've been happy with the fuel consumption:
Ride: Honda City 1.3S A/T
Mileage: 17k kms
Fuel type: Petron Extra Unleaded
Highway driving: 19.6km/l
City driving: 11.1 km/l
Average: 12.67km/ltr
How I computed? trip meter zero, full tank, drive to low fuel warning light, full tank, and measure kms travelled vs liters filled.
Driving style: I always try to keep my RPM below 2000, and stay at 80kph on NLEX. hayaan nyo lang yung mga lumalagpas. Tipid naman tayo sa gaso. hehehehe.

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
