Sorry mga Sir first time ko lang dito na double post pa... pano po delete ung first?
I have a Civic 2002 LXi and I consume 12.5 ~ 12.8 km/L.
This includes driving from Pampanga to Alabang on Monday, then Makati~Alabang~Makati on weekdays and back to Pampanga on Friday.
I record the fuel in L when gassing up and restart the odometer. I've been doing this for 6 months now.
Kakabili lang po namin ng 2012 honda city 1.5el, 20k odo reading nya. And di naman po siya super gamit lalo na dun sa binilan namin kasi nakastock lang siya until mabenta daw. Nung nabili na namin, bumyahe kami mula banawe to anonas. Heavy traffic nung una sa may sto domingo then after nun all the way wala na traffic. Below 2k rpm lagi all the way, up to 60 kph ang takbo namin. Ang fc po nung kinuha namin eh 6.0k/l then nagimprove to 6.1k/l. Sobrang baba po considering na hindi naman heavy traffic all the way. Anu po kaya ang pede ko gawin as remedy? Salamat po sa sasagot.
Reset it.
And if you want to know your REAL FC, don't just settle for what the MID tells you. Do the full tank method:
1. Fill up your car (full tank, automatic) and record your odometer reading.
2. Travel several hundred kilometers.
3. Fill up you car again (full tank, automatic) and record your odometer reading again.
4. Divide the total kilometers travelled by the total fuel you filled up on your second full tank.
5. The end result is your actual FC.
There are apps to help you monitor this. I recommend aCar for Android and Road Trip for iOS.
Hello, good am everyone, I'm new to tsikot, thus i can't make my own thread(maybe). I just want some advices and suggestions for having Honda Civic FD 1.8s/v as a service for my daily college life. Is it good for the fuel consumption category ? it's like 16km - 17km from my house to school, and have to drive myself every single day or often, back and fort. They say it has good fuel economy, but other says it's not, I also saw some thread that it also depends on how you step on the gas or your driving style. please help.. I'm a full beginner and IS interested in cars at the moment.![]()

Sirs,
I’m planning to buy Honda Civic 1.8e or the RS. Pero in terms of gas consumption sa city driving, alin mas matipid?
90 percent of the time, city driving lang talaga. May mga nabasa kasi ako mas matipid yung RS 1.5 turbo sa 1.8e. But city driving ba mas matipid talaga ang RS?
City driving for me is included the moderate to heavy traffic.
Salamat!
