May nakaexperience na ba sa inyo yung ayaw magstart ng kotse (not even crank) tapos kapag shinift sa Neutral magsstart kaagad? This has been happening sa 2006 1.8S A/T ko a few times already. Not sure why it's happening. Napalitan naman battery Q4 ng 2017 under warranty.

Palinis nyo yung transmission range switch sir.

It's the switch/sensor that informs the car what the AT transmission position is (P/R/D/D3/2/1).

Basically you can only start the car in N or in P. Pag madumi/faulty yung sensor, it can't tell where the transmission lever position is and will refuse to start.

Honda casa can clean this for a fee but I'm sure kaya din yan ng mga shops sa labas if they know what they are doing. Worst case is you will need to replace the sensor/switch. Not sure how much.

Nagawa ko na ito, ordered the part from ebay/amazon.

Madali lang nga kung nagawa ko hehe. Nabasag na kasi yung luma.

Forgot na its been 2-3 years. Nagloko ebay account ko e. Pero pag under 2K yung price, tingin ko go mo na. I think I spent about that much din...

Good PM. Ask lang po sana dun sa mga nakapagpalit na ng stock speakers ng 2008 CIVIC FD. ano pong speaker ang puwedeng ipalit na walang modification gagawin sa dash for tweeter and front door for the woofer?

kung baga iscrew nalang agad ang tweeter and woofer. walang mababago sa surface ng dashboard and door panel.

^ mahirap ata maghanap ng tweeter na kasya sa existing pods. Pero Madami pwede na speakers kasya sa pinto na no need for modifications

It seems kaya lagiyan, you just need a metal bracket to hold the tweeter in.

For yung door speakers, you can fit most 6.5 speakers as long as may adapter ka.

iyong fd ko kasi bro may stock tweeters na (2.0 s-l) . iyon nga lang masyado sya mahina kaya hindi ko marinig. and nung pinakita sa akin nung nagkabit ng subs ko dati , parang manipis siya kaya kasya sa pods niya. dunno how accurate my assessment is though

^ tried it only once out of necessity because i was trying to trace an oil leak. I Will never do it again unless really needed. Too electronics driven kaya kabado ako

Usually, the alternator, relays and other electricals. But I stopped getting engine washes already. Minsan kahit tinakpan ang alternator may nakakapasok din na tubig, lalo na kung sobrang lakas ang pressure ng washer.

Ngayon, like baludoy, punas punas nalang.

Hi, I am planning to buy a 2nd hand civic fd. I don't have any mechanic yet. Anong version kaya ng FD ang kukunin ko? I used to have civic '96 manual before btw. Plan ko rin sana mag brand new na honda city pero nanghihinayang ako sa ibababa ng price nya after 3 years since plan ko rin magabroad

At least 2008 1.8 (S or V variant) model. Manual or AT is up to you.

Edit: magabroad ka pala. Don't buy lol

the less parts and toys, the less items that might go wrong.
