Yup, FC drops significantly after 100 kph.

With my Altis before, I would get the ff:

80 kph - 20 km/L
100 kph - 16 km/L
120 kph - 14 km/L

Getting similar figures with my Civic FB now, but haven't logged as many km to get definitive results.

FC sweet spot is usually around 70-90 kph for most cars. If you wanna maximize FC, cruise the entire tollway at 80 kph. You'd be bored to death though. Tried it before for 200 km just to get 20 km/L based on full tank method, but not worth the hassle for everyday driving.

Ironic, that provincial/national roads would give better FC.

So in summary: expressways, you save time; provincial roads, you save fuel.

Not really, cuz going at 60-80 kph on provincial roads will only get you ~15 km/L, which is the same as going at 110-120 kph on the expressway.

Best I've done on a provincial highway was 18.5 km/L but that was OG road which has 2 lanes all the way so no slowdowns due to tricycles. It's almost like an expressway except for the intersections and towns proper.

So the only benefit I see with provincial roads is that there's no toll. But I'd pay toll any day to quicken travel time. I can't wait for TPLEX to head further up north.

I hope that in my lifetime, Bicol and Ilocos will be accessible purely by expressway...

I think an Ilocos segment is not so far-fetched. Would be very nice if they did it sooner rather than later.

Do you have tint on your windshield? What shade?

On our Accord and Odyssey with LED Headlight and Medium front tint, visibility is still okay even during
rain. Not saying it's clear but for me performance is better than halogen. N

Last week ago lang bro. Guess they are all in marketing.. hahahah same lang din sabi samin first in line and hopefully by 2nd week of June dumating na nga daw. Medyo bigat pag VW.. irap sa maintenance and parts malamang.

Clear tint lang na huper70. Lahat oto ko ganyan lang tint. Pag tuyo kalsada, ok sya pero pag basa mas gusto ko ung buga ng projector on halogens(night breaker) set up.

Must be the Kelvin rating. Kaya the best pa din talaga projector HID.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the performance of LEDs even with medium Tint.

Try a different USB drive. Mine works fine.

For anyone who has the 1.8E:

1. This has a "walk-away" lock feature right? The doors supposedly lock if the key is more than 2.5 meters away? How do you activate it? I'm not sure if my unit does it.

2. I tried plugging a USB stick into the USB port (I tried both ports - the one in the console under the head unit and the one inside the center console between the front seats) but the head unit merely says "there is no USB connected". What should I do?
