Any ideas on where to get a ktuner here in Manila, Philippines?

Been reading the civicx.com forum and I'm considering ECU tuning my 2017 civic 1.8E.

Bitin ba yung performance ng R18 para sa iyo? How much improvement in performance are you looking for?

If performance is a key requirement, you should have opted for the turbo RS model instead.

    I'm also interested here.

The price difference of the 2 variants is ridiculous and it's not practical for some, like me. Kahit RS walang Honda Sensing and lane watch eh.

With 1.6M you can have an E plus maybe an Eon then may sukli pa.

Honda PH should introduce a mid variant perhaps. Maybe come the facelift.

The Civic 1.8L model is decent by compact car standards. It offers a good package of space, performance, and fuel efficiency. The pre-TRAIN price of the Civic RS was more reasonable. However, spending like 300k on mods for a Civic 1.8L with gains of less than what the RS can offer, then it is more reasonable to get the RS in the first place.

If power and torque is a key requirement in a compact with a lesser budget than a Civic RS, then the only option is a Ford Focus Ecoboost. Even the base model Focus comes with the 1.5L turbo engine rated at 180hp/240Nm. However, the Focus is heavier than the Civic, has a smaller interior than a Civic, it is less fuel efficient, aftermarket support of Ford sucks, and the suspension is stiffer.

Eh nabili na yung kotse bro. So wala na yung option na bumili ng Focus or Civic RS at pre-train prices.

So looking at the feasible options, a mild power boost from an ECU tune can be a good solution for those who already have a 1.8E.

Maybe an updated intake and grippier tires will offer an affordable upgrade with positive results. An ECU tune with an option to reset to factory settings will be something to consider so as to have no problems with warranty.

Yeah I think Ktuner does that sa FD and FB.

Medyo little to none na nga lang ata yung tuning options sa FC na R18 since sa Asia na lang meron nito, and most of course went to the new 1.5 turbo engine.

Dapat kase yung E, 1.5 turbo na din eh or at least yung R20 man lang.

At least I'm getting good fc on my 1.8E, for the first 3.3k kms via the trip computer, average is 10.2 km/l with an average speed of 23km/h. Sa manual computation via Fuelio app, the average is 9.785 km/l.

Iniwan ko lang yung trip B for this purpose, while trip A automatically resets after refuelling (you can set this one sa vehicle settings).
