review is outstanding. fc is interestingly low even for just the driver. our version hopefully will have a better fc...

Sir niky,
You memtioned in your review that the 9 speed automatic transmission is wild? What do you mean? Would you recommend the 9 speed automatic transmission?

Si sir niky :-)[/QUOTE]
its suppose to be 20km/l as per thai specs for pure highway
now if its 16.78km/l with 1driver it will go down to 14-15km/l once there are 3-4 passengers.
still hoping the fc is good in the traffic with its small displacement.

for highway its "average" for its segment (ppv). everests and fortuner and monteros can do the same.
even my 2l can do that without any sweat.

Leaning towards the gas variant. Ako lang ba ang tanga na gagawa nito? LOL!
The 2.0L is decent imo.
Its not like the 2.5xtrails or the 2.7forts. These are gas guzzlers. Displacements bigger than 2L is too much for our traffic imo.
No turbos to worry about too.
I would wait for the annual discounted units though.. huge savings😅
Is it direction injection now?

Usually, is it easier to sell gas or diesel variants of a car?
Conflicting opinions from those I ask...
Can't wait for discounts anymore. Baka maabutan ng excise tax eh.
Tinignan ko ulit yung unit kanina. Mas masikip nga second row compared to Tucson and CX5.
I don't think so. Been seeing a lot of gas variants on the road already. Easier to sell diesel variants, but to me resale is a distant secondary consideration. It has to fit your wants/needs first.
The 2.0S is 200k cheaper than the similarly equipped 1.6S. Depending on how long you keep it, you might actually save some money with the gas variant.
If you don't need the extra seats, the extra cargo space of the gas variant is a big plus. We have the current X-trail and a lot of times I'd happily trade those 3rd row seats for more luggage space.
