2017 Honda CR-V Turbo and 7seats

been using the gas variant for about 3 wks already and surprisingly, the cvt does its job well..if you need some more punch for overtaking or whatever, simply click the left paddle to downshift..i decided to remain with the petrol model like my previous crvs coz first, i dont like diesel engines for cars or compact suvs; im not convinced yet with small engines, diesel or petrol, tweaked by turbos just to spew some hp and torque, im still for naturally aspirated ones; also, i dont need a third row which only adds weight and eats up luggage space..indeed the diesel variant has a lot of muscle, that's needed coz its curb weight alone, SX model, is heavier by abt 300kgs over the gas model if im not mistaken..at least for my needs, the gas variant suffices, as in the past..surely you have your own reasons

Sir how's the fuel economy of your gas variant? Ilan ang km/liter? I remember you posted before, pero bago bago pa lang yung unit mo that time.

took it to caliraya from ortigas recently, it registered around 8.5 kms/l with econ button turned off..

you can read many good cvt reviews sa crv and civic owners club forums. so many 200000+ milestones

the many cvt failures in the philippines were compounded because of wrong cvt fluids used.. ang dami kasi hindi informed

how many new cvts have been sold since 2015... hondacity honda jazz mirages/g4s. toyota altis.

Nice basic info.

-Ceramic and glass coat as sacrificial layer against scratches. Since it is harder than the top coat of original paint job.
- Maintains gloss over a longer period of time, no waxing needed (they say from what was applied to my car)
- increase hydrophobic property ( I still opted for addl layer -Exo v3)
- will last 5 years as they claim ( although I doubt it) but even if it last for only 3yrs masaya nko.
-I would not appreciate the P20k addl cost for pearl white if not coated.

*** ask first if the coat ,glass or ceramic they will apply needs a "periodic maintenance". Deal breaker yan to many..

Yes Optimum impressions nga pala si Donj..
Looking past his size na basically a small house garage biz plang, they know what they're doing.
Meticulous , maingat( swerte may mga fairly old vehicle) sa pampering and their attention to details. Ako lang nka sked for the whole day kanina kaya full force 5 tao nya.

Eto hindi ko maintindihan hindi ba May clear coat na yung mga cars natin pagkalabas ng casa?

Tama ka sir sa lahat.
Naka wax kna all the time as a result. Pero you still maintain the car as a normal non coated one, especially during washing that is avoiding washing during warmer time of the day as much as possible where evaporation is faster.
Factory clear coat is rated 7H(hardness) and below. In my case gtechniq claims 9H hardness.

factory coating is around 7H if my flash memory serves me right.

newer formulas do last longer and are more scratch resistant..

Hindi ko napansin. Smooth sya.

Sa overtake kaya naman. Hindi sya hirap. I didn't feel na underpowered sya. Parang tama lang IMO.
