Wala naman problem yung X-Trail CVT ngayon so far.

    XTrail > Sportage > Tucson

Yung CRV, ok sana... pero mahal.

AFAIK, the eco button is meant to modulate/constrict the throttle, optimize transmission to higher gear, etc... Its really meant to increase the fuel mileage with certain performance penalties (power/torque).

    =================

In Consumer Reports testing, the CRV narrowly beats the Mazda CX-5. But both are still behind the Forester and Rav4.

Checked the new CR-V 4WD kanina.

    Walang kwenta.

Mas maganda pa features nung 3rd gen 4WD ko.

Camera at sunroof lang nagustuhan ko.

IMO, The main reason why the CRV was a bit ahead of the CX-5 was because of the CRV's bigger engine in the US. But if you pit both with the similar 2.0 engines, I'm sure the CX-5 will win hands down.

800km pa lang Xtrail CVT ko so can't judge yet but I have confidence in Nissan quality so I don't worry about it. It is always on the top 3 in Australia but they have diesel kasi. You can still get discounts from 1.350M so you may get it at 1.3M flat.

In terms of engine and transmission, lamang ang Tucson. But for features like touchscreen, GPS, backup camera, etc, lamang ang Escape and Xtrail.

Para sa akin lang, doesn't the ECO button defeat its purpose of being economical kasi kailangan mong i-mash yung pedal say in situations when you need to overtake?

Pero I guess the ECU will sense that you'd need the extra power?

    Tama

Nakakatamad humataw that time

There's really no significant improvement from gen 3 para mag upgrade agad..unlike from gen 2 to gen 3 Ang laki ng improvement kaya dapat mag upgrade.

Parang IOS 5.0.1 to 5.1 lang walang kwenta mag update dahil konti Lang nabago

I think I'll hold on to my gen 3 until mag burkas na Thailand plant nila at baka bumaba a price, but for now I'm not gonna pay for an overpriced CRV.

Even if they bring in the Thai CBU, in my opinion, price will not go down significantly (ie. less 200K). Honda probably has almost the same build cost for a certain vehicle it manufactures , whether it be CBU Japan or Thai. What will vary marginally are labor costs, utility costs, and etc... Importation taxes also weight in heavily in this case. Correct me if I'm wrong but CBU jap (3.0li and less) are slapped with higher tax than CBU from ASEAN members like Thai.

Di ba na bump up yung hp and fuel efficiency ng crv? The interior dimension also increased while the exterior shrunk a little bit. Usually the price of crv is quite high especially during its inaugural release year.
