Wala na pala kwenta rav4 at crv kasi mahal.
At may nakikita pa akong rav4 na brand new ha
I honestly dont luke how this looks.. Theres something about the design i just cant put a finger on it.. The rear looks awkward.. The side profile reminds me of a volvo and the front fascia, also looks weird.. They should go back to the roots and make it look like the first gen v.. That was my favorite..
Question, lets say these units were not sourced from Japan. They were sourced from the Thailand plant, would the price of these Vs go down? Would the price disparity be great enough for middle class families to buy this unit?
Check the specs at Honda | The Power of Dreams
2.0LX is still on drum brakes
Airbags are still limited to driver and front passenger for both variants (2.0LX and 2.4EX)
Disappointingly quite barebones for the price that Honda Phil is peddling the 2012 CRV for.
Actually, 4 disc na yan.
Drum-in-disc = drum for parking brakes.
Even then, massive fail.
Halogen only, no USB for the 2.0, no leather option for at least the 2.4
What are they smoking? CBU saan ba ito? USDM yung itsura eh.

Its also funny, in their website, they mistakenly showed a JDM unit while the rest of pics are USDM.
Honda Japan has truly become complacent in the design, engineering, and innovation of their vehicles of recent. But by pricing themselves out of the market and not aided by the scant and lackadaisical features, Honda Phils must be so delusional to think that they can sell boatloads of these like before, on the basis of its badge and perceived "prestige".
I'm not sure if its for all or just some, but in the US, there are 2012 CRV USDM that are manufactured in Japan.
So its possible for the local 2012 CRV to be CBU Japan and yet sport USDM looks.
medyo mahal na nga CRV. personally I'd rather have a tucson crdi or cx-5 and even if it's not a direct competitor a montero.
Kung kaya ng the rest of the other manufacturers dapat lang sila din. I actually love Hondas we have had in the family a Civic VTI, Accord EXI, CRV 1st gen. another CRV 2nd gen and a Civic FD over the years, ngayon ni isa wala na and I don't think there are any of the current models that piques my interest. Good enough vehicles that they are, there are just too many other options out there that are better or present more value. I wonder how long would it take for Honda to be back on their game?
