well there are lots of ways to modify your car without ricing it out, i could understand if it's a sports car but honda's aren't made that way anymore they've moved on and developed what we call econobox.
That's why honda is now giving you the option to get mugen or hfp installation. Re: moving on, I hope honda maintains the civic spirit. I wouldn't want it to be included in the d people's cars list. Look what happened to toyota, their market demographics are now in the older generation, hence they created a new company scion just to cater the younger generation.

Honda accord can accomodate the older generation, there's acura tl and rlx to cater these demographics.

ito yung makukuha ng AU market from Thai

Civic Sport = 2.0 top variant
    Vti-L = lowest variant
    Vti-LN = mid variant

"Civic Sport will have Sat nav and reverse camera and smart key when it arrives next month from thailand.
There will be a Vti-l and Vti-LN also. The Vti-L is the same as the current jap one but the Vti_LN gets sat nav and camera, rain sensing wipers, smart key, auto head lights, chrome door handles and i think fog lights."

    Looks like more toys.

I see paddle shift (presence of S on shifter).

Kapag may price drop, baka ok pa talaga ito. Otherwise, there are better cars for the money.

parang tingin ko na sa civic release na'to reminiscent of when Nissan released the mask rider black model. walang ka-exa-excitement sa design. buti pa yun accent kahit mura, medyo hawig european mercedez C200 ba yun C150, basta iba talaga dating ng accent. tapos andyan pa yun rio na HB. pano pa kayo pang nilabas yun bagong aveo ng hatch, ganda din noon

one thing is certain. Honda's designers should be fired. competitive na ngayun bakit sa design nag papaiwan pa sila. it really looks like the city, nothing wrong with the city imho, even i like the city's design but if im buying a civic, i dont want it looking friggin like the city, i want it looking like a civic.

In fairness, the new Civic looks better in real life than on pictures. It does have the semblance of the City, but you'll know right away that it's not because of the more aggressive styling all around.

It didn't sell quite well in the US. But it is not because of the styling, rather, it was due to the less than stellar performance. The Civic used to be regarded as a tuner's car. Apparently, not anymore. Honda's focus has moved into lowering the emissions and fuel consumption. Performance has now taken the backseat.

It's similar to the first and succeeding years of the FD. Those that came out before 2009 had actually lower stance than the ones that came out 2009 onwards. It's noticeable especially on the 1.8V
